Good photo opportunity, especially if the sky is blue. One of several Soviet architectural examples in the city.

Officialy in Moldova, unoffically the state of Transnitria with it''s own parliament, currency and stamps. An oddity worth exploring for a day.

This building in soviet style is impressive and very fascinating. In front of it there is a bust of Lenin to give even more soviet atmosphere to the palace.

I must say I am surprised by the low reviews. If you come to Tiraspol aren’t you looking for some Soviet memories... there is a Lenin statue here and the sign says what it is. You are free to take photos.

Not really an attraction as such, but the fact it still boldly states “house of the soviets” and still has it’s statue of Lenin in place, really does make visiting Tiraspol feel like you have slipped 30 years back in time.

It was just beside Hotel Russia where I stayed. it is an impressive building but I read it is forbidden to take pictures of it - don't know if that is actually true but didn't risk it.

but the facade of the building is an architecture beauty of soviet proportions, of course in proportion to other buildings in the town.

Tiraspol is extremely short of attractions so this which might rank highly here probably would not even make the list in any other capital. It is an attractive building especially at night when it is lit up. There is a bust of Lenin outside and...More
