Really lovely cathedral in the heart of Tiraspol, Transdniestra. Well worth 20 minutes of your time if you're in Tiraspol and want somewhere cool and tranquil to recover from what can be very hot summer days.

I've seen a lot of orthodox churches in various Easter European countries. This one isn't as impressive as some I've been in, but it is still absolutely beautiful and you should go to see it if in Tiraspol.
Behind the park behind Sukarov monument you will find the catherdral, Its nice to look at with well maintained grounds, no problem entering inside but no photos allowed of the interior which is actually quite small compared to others. Worth 15 minutes of your time...More

This little church stands out among the Soviet-era architecture in the city. While simple outside (and crumbling paint), the interior is absolutely gorgeous. It's an operating place of worship, and you should dress conservatively. Women were covering their hair.
