Kvint is a legendary brandy factory in Tiraspol. The tour is a very interesting and pleasurable part of a good visit to this unique and friendly capital of Transnistria. You can visit the Kvint museum and enjoy a lovely brandy tasting. Very special! Seriously good brandy, too!

On a sunny afternoon in June I visited the Kvint winery. A friendly lady who spoke fluently English guided us through the winery, the museum, the factory, botteling facilities and finally we had a tasting of 5 different "Divin" wines (read "Brandy"). It was a nice experience and afterwards we paid a visit to the Kvint store where we could buy some Divin to take home.

This was the last stop on our very memorable visit to Tirasopol and Transnistria, we just had enough Rouble's left to buy a bottle of 10 yr old Kvint surprise cognac, 78 Rouble's to be precise, which equated to just less than 8 euro's. A great memory of our time spent in Transnistria.

Reservation for tour is needed. But it's tricky. The price of the package depends on number of people you report while making a reservation. We were 2, so we could only take the most expencive package available. They explained, you do not have to drink the 8 cognacs you get to taste in VIP package, but then you rationalize that you will not spit out so much money. So we decided to do other kind of tasting. Went to the Kvint store next door and bought bunch of cognacs, brandy and vodkas for third of the price for 1 VIP package. I'd say that was a great deal.

I'm not a cognac drinker so I wasn't hugely excited about this tour but the place is in great condition and we had a fantastic guide so it exceeded my expectations! The tour was really interesting and our guide, Ana, was really knowledgeable and could answer any questions. She was also amusing whilst being super professional. The tasting was a great experience too. We were a tour group of six and sat in a really nicely laid out room with lots of food and 5 cognacs to try. I really enjoyed it and would recommend.

In Tiraspol this is one of the main sights. We had tour (around 2 hours) with a Cognac tasting at the end of the tour. There is also am small shop around the Corner. The factory itself is quite impressive. If you spend time in Transnistria it's worth visiting it. Our tourguide spoke an excellent English and was very friendly.

I visited here for guided tour. I didn't go in for regular guide. My friend knows the president of the company, so visited him and his secretary guided for me. Hospitality of the company was great! So as sampling 5 year old cognac and 15 year old cognac. Some special cognac or vodka are only sell in Transnistria because it have flag or map of Transnistria on it. I bought two of those. Great gift of Transnistria.

Had a guided tour of factory followed by cognac tasting accompanied by a light meal/snack to assist in the tasting. This consisted of bread, cheese, olives, tomatoes, peppers, cucumber.the factory guide was excellent and started the sampling with a 5 year old cognac then moving on to 7 year old, 10 year old, and finally 15 year old cognac. Explained the amount to pour into glass, holding glass to the light, colour, smell, and finally taste.
