Memorial of Glory is a memorial complex that includes: eternal flames, memorial names, monuments, and St. George the Victorious Chapel. The bronze sculptural wall is very beautiful. This is a must see!!!

While exploring the city of Tiraspol, had a short stop to see the eternal flame. Located in the central square of Tiraspol city very close to The Tank monument.
A nice place to stop for a picture.

It did not stand out, even the flame itself was nothing to write home about, we happened to be there, not worth a special trip.

The flame is part of a memorial commemorating 2 wars - the Afghanistan war and the civil war with Moldova. The flame is surrounded by names of dead soldiers. A meaningful place to consider the folly of war.

Great sight for this area-non regognized country...the Transnistria and Tiraspol as capital of this country have history, small but have...From 1992 and after this area try to have different culture, history and all other things to separate from Moldova...This site is the memory of the war between Moldova and Transnistria

The flame is a constant reminder of those who gave everything for their country. This war memorial has sections for several wars.

This war memorial is located close to the Tank Monument and opposite the Lenin monument outside the Supreme Soviet building. It's worth a stop as you're exploring the area. In quite good condition.

Eternal flames are always thought provoking and moving regardless of where you are in the world or what that particular country/city is like. The monuments here in Tiraspol are just as emotive as any in the West even though they may represent wars/struggles that are difficult for those of us in the West to relate to. A must see place in Tiraspol as it's a monument to those who have died and places like this should always be respected.
