Still beautiful with white soft sand and pristine water. Been here since 28 years ago,i was shock the heavy developments and tourism have truly destroyed its true beauty . This year's trip will be my last after 12 years of absence, even though been there for 12 trips. The larger fishes and turtles are completely gone from the reef at... More

One of the most beautiful islands with pristine sandy beaches, lovely coral reefs, marine life and clear waters. A great destination for beach lovers, snorkelers and scuba divers. Loads of brightly coloured coral fish and turtles as well as baby sharks swim in the shallows, Access to the island is by boat from Merang or Kuala Trengganu. Most of the... More

As a destination Redang Island is great. Relatively untouched, shallow white sand beaches, clean clear turquoise water swarming with colourful fish, house reef near beach. I found it comparable to my experience in the Caribbean and the Great Barrier Reef. Access is not ideal. No direct flight. I took a speedboat arranged by the resort. Two young guys took care... Beautiful island indeed but mass tourism is destroying it. Long Beach has become the destination for large groups of tourists (mainly Chinese) on package tours. It is overcrowded. There are a few other bays in the island that look much quiet and relaxing and as beautiful as long beach

Redang Island is an amazing place to visit. We have visited numerous times via a cruise ship visiting the Island for the day. There are a number of resorts and other cheaper accommodation there if you want to stay there. It is avery popular holiday place for the Malaysians. The beaches are beautiful with fine white sand and the water... More

View from beach is incredible also with lot of colors (from blue to green). This place is like a paradise. Everything is quite expensive but it is... More

Snorkeling is fantastic here. If you do not want to go to the open sea for snorkeling, there are few spots nearby the beaches where one can enjoy beautiful corals, colorful fishes, and some baby sharks. Walking barefoot on the powdery white sand is something to look forward for. The only thing that made me felt dissapointed is the number... More

Absolutely beautiful white sand and clear seas, really beautiful! As it's a marine park, more should be done to clear away rubbish left behind by inconsiderate tourists! Even if a small fee is charged for each visitor to the area to ensure it's done. It would be a shame for tourists to spoil this beautiful place.
