This island is located off the east coast of Malaysia. It has a lot of beaches and is covered with jungle. Hotels are located on the westcoast. You go here by boat from the mainland. There are a lot of tourists here, mainly chinese.Main activity is diving.

I stayed at Wisana Village - the best place to stay in Redang. The beach is so clean with white sand and crystal water. The snorkeling trip is the best trip ever. The marine park is so beautiful with lots of fished and coral. A great destination for beach lovers, snorkelers and scuba divers.

We stayed at the Taaras Beach Resort and the view of the island is the best there IMO. The water was clear, the sand was white and the overall scene was calm and serene. Make the time and go visit the island!

The island itself is very exotic. Still a wild jungle with its monkeys, snakes, spiders and giant ants. The resort part of the island is limited to two beaches. The island is dedicated to chinese mass tourism which is pretty destabilizing for occidental tourists. Only one (expensive) resort, located on a beach of it own on the north of the... More

It was a 3 days 2 nights holiday for us. We went on 31st August 2016. As I touch down on the beach. I was wow & wah all the way. Looking at the blue sky & clear water make me want to jump into the sea right a way. Beaches are clean, sands are so fine.I hope the authorities... More

I love Redang The beaches, coral reefs and marine life are better than what is available on the Great Barrier Reef. Getting to Redang is an adventure itself. You can snorkel over coral reefs strait off the beach. I swam with reef sharks and turtles off the beach. The water is crystal clear and sand is white. The island is... More
