Never thought Malaysia would have such wonderful beaches, but looks like there are some up on the east coast. The journey to here, using, taxis, planes, buses and finally ferry was worth it. Now will definitely have to check out the 2 other islands talked about in this part of Malaysia, i.e. Pulau Perhentian and Pulau Kapas, just to find... More

Really enjoyed our trip. Few of the must dos for a family is visit to Long beach and spend an evening preferably at a bar or sea side restaurant if you are staying on Long Beach. Also great beaches like Public Beach or Beach with Taaras Hotel and Spa resort are great. Enjoyed Snorkelling at Marina Park. If you like... More

Very relaxing place, a must for divers. Almost you will reach here after you book with some resort, it's not go and look for hotel place. Some resorts are isolated, so try to pick good one, and don't expect 4/5 stars services, but natural and beach, snorkeling, diving instead. You can swim with baby sharks right at the beach, so... island itself is a beautiful place, with wonderful white sands, great marine park and turtle bay, perfect for divers and snorkelers, as well for those who just want to chill on the beach. However coral itself especially close to the shore is badly damaged to popular snorkelling trips, where people who basically cannot swim are given a mask, life jacket... More

Quaint island. Able to see a lot even just off the beach. Calm waters, awesome for snorkelling and swimming. Good variety of resorts. From basic & practical; party & fun; to upper standard.

Went snorkeling at several spots around Redang and it was a first for some of us in the group. Absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back.

Redang is a very beautiful place with its powdery white fine sand that feels so nice when walking bare foot. Even the beaches in Bali that we visited cannot match the beautiful sandy beaches with crystal blue seas that Redang has to offer. There is a very relaxing feel to Redang with its relaxing breeze, also because there aren't any... More

Redang Island is famous with its beautiful beach and good for a short retreat. There are many resort in this island. Traveler prefer night entertainment can stay near the jetty and traveler prefer quiet surrounding can stay at the end of the long beach.
