A well kept and spacious park situated in the centre of Miri, have a picnic, stroll round or jog which ever takes your fancy.
Facilities include a swimming pool open only weekdays ATM.
Also library with reading and IT amenities.
There are food stalls in the late afternoons early evening

I have been away from Miri for 4 years and I went there Aug 2006 to visit my mother and other relatives. I've noticed lots of changes whereby more areas near the river front were opened to more shop houses. I passed by the Dewan Suarah Miri (Miri Civic Centre) area and noticed the area surrounding the building was expanded into a large urban park, landscaped with shady leavy tall trees, palms and concrete sculptures, all scattered around a promenade. There were bright blooming flowers here and there. My mother informed me that this was the new Miri City Fan park. The 10.4 hectare park includes a promenade, parkland, an amphitheater, musical fountain, a library and cultural center and various ethnic gardens. It was a nice place to stroll in cool evenings after a stressful day at work. On the weekend, the Miri City Fan is also popular with the people with families.

At 1 ringit to enter, the olympic outdoor swimming pool is great to break up a hot and humid day. facilities are good, theres plenty of places to sit and the pool is clean. The chaing rooms are a bit Malaysian standard but its very cheap and convenient.
easy to find right near the park where on saturdays at 6 there are outdoor excecise classes. a nice place to chill out.

Surprised and happy to note that we are able to stroll and enjoy our evening walk. Places are now clean, bright lights and organised.

Great place to catch a few corsolas. Nice to walk around the park. Definitely worth a visit. Go for an after dinner stroll, perhaps?

I went there early in the morning of Friday. The park is well-maintained and a good place to meditate (to think it"s in the middle of the city) I had the park all to myself. The park is also good to do some jogging or just leisure walking or some serious reading. And the best part is it's free.

This place could be known as cat city - we went in the evening and there were cats everywhere. Its a nice enough place but other than sit there - what to do?

Here u can do your cardio,yoga and also swimming area also have been provide. There also have Two library you can go the classy one and Modern one.Nice place for family time. No forget play ground also on the corner. Have Health and happy time here.

Interesting park that is divided culturally with the architect and food served. We were here as the park celebrating the Miri exhibition and food festival. Naturally lots of food stalls and interesting food served. Lava ice cream, charcoal ice cream, smelly tofu, BBQ chicken, and many many more. Also witnessed the karaoke competition. I believe this is a good park to take the family out and spend time stroll around.

This place is perfect for weekend outing. Nice environment. Suitable for jogging, walking, skating, cycling and martial art performance.
The downside is the car park security. Please do not leave your bag or any items visible on your car seat or you will get your car eindow glass smashed.
