what a pity to hear sad news about collapsing horse head nature made sculptor on February 2020 . So it's nobody beach on my visit ,however, the long white sand beach is very cool with strong seaweed from South China Sea . it's a bit attempt to reach the white sand beach by following the concrete trail down to the south ,then I see the slope down from the cliff to the white sand beach below . During my visit on Saturday afternoon, there is no cars in the parking lots , just a couples of vistors at that time .
there are only 2 shops ,open for selling drinks and snacks . it's not practical to rebuild the replica of horse head by Sarawak government to be a magnet to draw the tourists to this beach. it's unnatural things and ,yes, the blue tears at night are also hard to see duet climate change.

Very nice sunset view. Still accessible although some of the places are under construction.
Suggest to check the tiding before going. We went during the high tide and are unable to view the 'horse head' cliff.

We went to tusan beach on the last day of our Miri trip. It was only less than an hour of drive from the city. The roads are really nice. We really enjoyed the sights as the roads were surrounded by trees. There was good amount of crowd. It was really hard to find a parking as the parking there was not really organised. There was a public restroom provided. The view from the cliff really worth your ride. You have to walk down from the cliff to reach the beach. The time we went there it was raining and the path was really slippery so better wear proper shoes. There were few people following us to the beach but most of them just watching the view from the cliff. There were few food stalls near the cliff and you can find local food like satay, chicken wings, coconut shake and barbecued sausage. All the food there were in reasonable price. It's really quite right after sunset and the best place to hangout with your loved person. The beach is really long for motorbiking so you can bring your bike along. I heard from a local friend that you can see the blue tears at night due to the seaweed in the water. But we were not that lucky. Finally I would say if you go to Miri this place worth a try.

Tusan Beach is a beautiful sea beach where you can enjoy a coconut milk and feel the breeze of the South China Sea. The Beach located high above over the mountain and you can see a aerial view of 180 degree view and walking down on a path bring you to the seaside to enjoy the salt water and waves splashing onto your feet. There are certain season that when you stay till at night where you can see what is call "BLUE TEAR" it is the whole sea become alive and turn BLUE crystal sea and giving the blue light over the whole sea beach. This is such a beautiful scene that you should watch. But you need to check the timing.

Arrived at this Beach around 9am. Desserted thou suspect it comes alive in the evening till night, looking at empty stalls selling foods, drinks, and desserts. Probably best time to visit this place is during the evenings.

The sunset sky was beautiful, so is the night sky, untouched by urban lights and clear with thousands of twinkling stars. The sea was much cleaner than beaches closer to Miri. Managed to see the Winter Milky Way, a wonderful experience!

On our way back from Niah Cave, we stopped at Tusan Beach, a scenic and beautiful beach. However, we had to park our car some distance away and walked to the beach as they are building a gazebo and some facilities for visitors. The sand is white and pristine. However, there are not many people there. Actually there isn’t any facility along the beautiful beach. There are only some stalls some distance away set up by the locals selling some local food. We bought some corns steamed by using charcoal. It’s sweet and tasty. It’s a nice place to relax and unwind.
