Quite an easy trail to go through. Quite a bit of the path is paved with a wooden deck, while the rest is quite level and wide. Took about 30 minutes to go through the path.

Walking the trails is the one thing all visitors should not missed when in Fraser’s Hill. However, some trails are challenging and not suitable for children. We find the Hemmant Trail most suitable for families with young children. The trail is about 1km long, cutting across the hill by the golf course, not too challenging, well marked out and safe for families.

We started at the Victory Bungalow end of the trail with 5 adults and 5 children ranging from 4 to 8 years old. Took us about an hour with some short breaks in between as the kids discovered some interesting plants, insects and birds. Most of the terrain are rather flat with a few steep ones, so the adults would need to help the younger kids manoeuvre the slopes. After the trail, follow the main road for about 20 minutes to get back to your car or the kids can stop at the children’s playground (see map attached to this review).

Bring water and wear comfortable walking/running shoes. There is the occasional leeches but we didn’t encounter any (applying some natural/organic mosquito repellent (not insecticides!) on the shoes should help).

We have a brisk walk in Hemmant trail. Its was easy, clean as safe. The kids complain at first but later on have fun. Its about 20minutes walks.. The path was very clear & there's no chance to get lost.
Come across a wild mushroom & some interesting birds flying around. Recommended to all.
.
Tips: Family with small kids. Wear proper shoes..

We tried to do most of the trails during our short stay in Bukit Fraser and found that Hemmant Trail was the nicest. Quite easy to walk, although with some obstacles due to fallen branches and trees but with very interesting ferns, trees, flowers and a good chance to spot some of the beautiful birds that people come here for.

If you start from the "center" of town you will exit the trail near to the archery and horseriding (the latter was closed when we visited) facilities and you can walk back to the town center around the golf course.

Very nice short walk in the woods. For those who like nature (as I do) this, and the other trails around Fraser's Hill are well worth it. Quite an enjoyable trail and this is probably one of the easiest.

We went birdwatching at the Hemmant Trail two times and on both occasions we saw the rufous browed flycatcher near the entrance by the restaurant. We also saw a Lesser racquet tailed drongo, 4 or 5 Mountain Fulvetta, lots of Laughing Thrush and long tailed sibia, a pair of mountain tailor birds, and a chestnut crowned warbler. However one must be patient because this mixed flock usually comes in waves so after each wave, one can wait for another 20-30 minutes for the next wave of birds to fly in. The trail is moderate and not that difficult. However, because of the dense forest, you won't get the best light for best photography. Definitely a must area to visit when birdwatching in Fraser's Hill. Will not dissapoint.

We decided on this trail because we have 2 children under 4 years old.
It was easy enough for our eldest. Our youngest went in the carrier.
Mostly flat but some up and down bits. Nothing too treacherous... a few large tree roots and small bridges.
Took about 30-45mins. When you get to the end you can walk around on the road to do a loop.
Tip, beware of leeches!
Wear decent footwear.

Very nice track. Clean and no stress. Safe and still can enjoy bird chirping and insect humming.
Highly recommended trail for everyone, even for inexperienced people like me

This was by far the easiest trail my 8 year old has done.

Not much bird spotting however we did see a few Ant nest and squirrels

If you are a seasoned hiker, this is not for you

We were able to cover it in 20-25 minutes k
