The ticket 'office' is just off the main road. You have to buy a ticket to attend. I think it was 12,000 Ariary. They lead you a LONG way and over rocks/up a small slippy slope to the graveyard....More
We visit pirate cemetery when we in St.Marie, it was interesting to see the history even not very organized...but we had local tour guide for this trip so very helpful for understanding the story of pirate.

This is an interesting place but don't go out of your way to visit it. There is quite a hike to the actual cemetery which is quite small but perched on a little hill with nice views of the sea and the Catholic Church.
