The falls are a must when visiting Tsavo East. The power of the waterfall disappearing in deep chasms in the boulders, to appear below and flowing into hippo & crocodile hangouts is fantastic!

So amazingly beautiful!! Worth the trip, seeing the animals and landscape is more than worth the drive.

Have your guide take you here. It's an interesting geological ecosystem that are the makeup of Lugard Falls in the north part of Tsavo East Park. Must see and experience the sheer power of this waterfall and then visit the hippos and crocodiles down below.

I grew up in Kenya and never knew of these falls. Stunning! A must if you're visiting Tsavo East. No trash & you can walk to the falls.
