We had an amazing time in Wadi Rum with Guides of Wadi Rum. We did the one day and one night trip that included going to all the sites in Wadi Rum. The day included a good mix of hiking and scrambling up mountains and rock formations. Our guide gave us the freedom to do our own thing, but still gave us pointers on how to get up some of the trickier rock formations. (Note: This tour is definitely tailored for people who are physically fit, although they have many different tours that might be better for different fitness levels). My friends and I had a wonderful time, got to see a lot of Wadi Rum and really enjoyed riding in the back of the jeep between sites. Highlights of the tour included scrambling to Lawrence's Spring, walking through a canyon, and watching the sun set while drinking tea. The tour included lunch, dinner, and breakfast the next morning. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. We also had a lot of delicious tea and snacks/extra water was provided for us. The campsite was nice, clean, and comfortable. We arrived after sunset and ate very soon after. Then we sat around the fire outside before going to bed. If you want, they can move your beds outside to sleep under the stars or sleep in the very nice walled-tents. They arranged for our transportation to Petra the next morning and provided a delicious breakfast! Overall this was an amazing experience and was very cheap considering everything that was included. Doing Wadi Rum is a must if you're in Jordan and our experience there with Guides of Wadi Rum was amazing and highly recommended!!

This was an awesome tour and overnight stay! They take you to all the sites in Wadi Rum while also giving you the freedom to really explore them and enjoy the experience. My group did the recommended scrambling tour and it was a good mixture of hiking and more intense scrambling (definitely for the younger or more physically fit crowd). They serve you yummy tea when you first arrive and then at dinner and all throughout the night. Lunch, dinner, and breakfast were all really delicious and PLENTY of food (and water). One of my favorite parts of the tour was just riding around in the back part of their pickup truck (they have a covering overhead so you aren't in the sun) from location to location and seeing the beautiful landscape. The overnight location was very nice and clean. If you want they will help move your bedding to sleep under the stars or you can stay in the tent for the extra warmth. I would recommend bringing a flashlight though as it is very dark and there is limited lighting. Overall, a great experience, and they even booked us a bus to Petra for the next day which was much cheaper than a taxi! I don't want to sound like I am selling the place to you, but it was one of the best experiences ever and I would HIGHLY recommend it.

Save your money and your time! My husband and I had a terrible experience with this tour operator. We were supposed to have an English guide, but instead the son of the owner of Day Tours was our driver, who by the way do not speak good English. He never explained us what we were seeing or visiting, he just took us to the places without saying a word. And what is worst, he left us in the middle of the night alone in the camp, without any other tourist or person in the desert. Yes, we were the only tourists in Wadi Rum! We did not have the so famous experience of the barbecue or listening to the local stories, music, etc as our "guide" just drove us to the camp and left us there. The next day, while we were doing the jeep tour he lost us in the desert, we were so afraid as there was no one around and it was almost 40 degrees! So, our advise is to avoid this tour with Guides of Wadi Rum.

We spent a full day in Wadi Rum with 'Guides of Wadi Rum' and had a wonderful experience. The cost was 50JD (about £50) per person plus 5JD entrance fee.
We were met by our guide, Awaad, at the visitor centre at 11am and spent the whole day in his somewhat battered 4x4 visiting all the sites. There were just the two of us plus Awaad - we had his services to ourselves. Awaad is a very courteous and informative guide.
The price included water, soft drinks, mint tea, lunch, dinner round the camp fire and breakfast. Out tent and beds were warm and comfortable. Before and after dinner we enjoyed the company of Awaad and some of his brothers and cousins, all of whom were guides and had been driving their own guests round all day like us. There were 12 of us guests (or customers, if you prefer) plus about 6 Bedouin guides and cooks.
We had a wonderful time and cannot praise 'Guides of Wadi Rum' enough. We thoroughly recommend visiting Wadi Rum with Abdullah Ali and his family at 'Guides of Wadi Rum'.
Lovely people, great experience, tremendous value for money.

We arranged a day jeep tour in Wadi Rum with Abdullah. After being hosted with tea and getting to know our guide we were driven around the desert in a car. We had a lot of stops where we were let to explore the area and climb scramble on rocky hills and canyons. We also had a short camel ride and lunch in the desert. At the end we enjoyed sunset view among the desert rocks. I'm really glad to have been able to visit such an incredible place.

My Daughter booked Mohammad Hilalat (mmm_jordan@yahoo.com)as a guide for four of us to Wadi Rum Desert on Feb 27,2016. He is a terrific guide. Very knowledgeable,
very outgoing, and very helpful. As a coup D'etat, he cooked a gourmet meal in the desert.

We spent 2 days in Wadi rum with 'Guides of Wadi rum' and had a wonderful time. We met our guide at the visitors center and were taken to the desert after an introduction with the family. We visited the main attractions of the desert including the 'rock bridges' and Lawrence spring. Finally ending in the Bedouin camp site, where we stayed overnight. Camp site is very good with permanent rooms and a modern toilet. Dinner cooked by our guide was very tasty. Next day we went for a camel trek through the desert with them which was also an amazing experience. The cost was 45jd per person per night plus the 5jd fee to enter the reserve.
Thanks to them for making this trip a truly amazing experience.

Booked a 4 hour tour through the MY Hotel in Aqaba. The cost was 45JD per person plus 5JD for entry to the reserve, each. We drove the 50km to the reserve in our hire car and parked up at the Wadi Rum Rest House car park (free parking). A collection service is available from the hotel. We were met by our guide and taken by four wheel drive vehicle into the desert, stopping off at various historical and view points. We then stopped off to watch a glorious sunset over the mountains before driving to a desert camp for a feast of a meal. Extremely enjoyable, great guide and highly recommended. Not ideal for very young children and the old/ infirm.
