With our two daughters, aged 6 and 7, we discovered the beautiful Wadi Rum desert. We expected a great adventure, and we were fulfilled beyond our expectations! The success of this excursion is undeniably linked to the kindness of our guide, Salem, and the perfect organization of Stephanie upstream.
We lived the day as if in a dream, each discovery brought another equally extraordinary! We discovered the great sites of Wadi Rum (arches, canyon,...), took a beautiful one-hour camel ride and shared with Salem his way of life, his culture. He prepared us a delicious meal in his camp and allowed us to meet his animals: goats, sheep and camels. Moments of sharing that will remain etched in us.
Throughout the day, until the beautiful sunset, we felt totally confident, especially our usually shy daughters. Salem knows how to be present, without imposing itself and each of its actions is done in peace, without haste and above all in harmony with the surrounding nature.
That day ended with a night of change in unusual accommodation: a large, comfortable bubble located in another part of the desert, inside Camp Hasan Zawaideh.
If you plan to travel to Jordan with your family, plan a day in the Wadi Rum with Salem!

Thank you to Salem for these unforgettable moments spent during our trip!
Salem organized our 7-day road trip all over Jordan, and it was perfect: the route, hotels, activities... We felt like we were privileged.
Salem and Fathi our driver were available, warm, welcoming, always wanting to teach us more about Bedouins and Jordan, all with a smile!
Thanks also to Salem for these two days spent in the desert to make us discover his way of life, the most beautiful places of Wadi Rum and what to say about the evening and night spent under the stars: Wow! A moving moment that will remain etched in our memory...
I recommend 200%, Salem is very available via Whatsapp or email and very responsive!

We had a unique experience beyond our expectations with the Salem agency. Very easy to reach by email and whatsapp we are more than grateful for the quality of services and our very good exchanges. Selim, Salem's brother, has a camp that we also recommend 100%. It is unique in a breathtaking environment, it's almost unreal! Everything is perfect from arrival to departure. The welcome is warm, the dinner great, the atmosphere perfect, the common areas and the tents authentic and clean. We congratulate this agency which is providing the possibility of accommodation in the heart of the desert in a setting that respects its environment and it is a point of honor! We also spent an absolutely unique night in bivouac with the Salem agency and a day exploring the most beautiful places in the desert in the company of Suth, an adorable and attentive agency guide who we will keep in our hearts for all. such beautiful moments shared together. The sunset during the bivouac is undoubtedly the most moving memory and the starry night by the fire with a good meal all together unforgettable! We thank them all warmly for everything. For this unique welcome and hospitality, for their generosity and their unparalleled kindness. These memories will be etched in our minds forever. Many thanks again!

First, Salem is the coordinator of the trip, a nice person and it is easy to communicate with him (he speaks english). Landscape was great, we did three nights and three days.
The majors negatives points are that the guide didn’t speak english at all, not spanish, french… just arabic. We could hardly communicate with him and couldn’t learn about bedouin life and story of the desert (bedouin culture, what petroglyphs mean, etc…). Then they just give you a very thin seat protector to sleep, that is not a mattress not a sleeping pad. So it is like you just sleep on the hard floor. Hopefully we had our own mattress, and we just spend the first night like that. I also choose this company for their environmental engagement and I was chocked to see that the guide let the dishes like plastic bottles in the wild campsite. At least but not less, I went on their website to see more about them (originally I had their contact by travel forum) and I saw that they charged us each 20 JOD more than they say. I appreciate !

Dear Helio,
Thank you for your concern.
First of all, I have nothing to say about your guide ; right he doesn't speak fluent english, but our aim is also to make local people work, to show our guests hidden and secret spots and not only the touristic ones that another guide coming from the city (who yes, would speak good english, but will he know the desert like a Bedouin ?...) could show you...I was clear about it from the beginning. And I was here every night to discuss with you about the culture.
Once again, our goal is to propose trips around the nature and helping the local community, fighting against the big campsites and bubbles ruining our landscapes...This is maybe why you chose us.
About the rubbish left behind, this is something NOT acceptable, I will check it again with my team ; but if this happened at the Bivouac place, know that this is a place we are used to go almost every day, and the guides of my team using it know that I pass behind them to collect them...
For the mattresses, this is camping mattress, more comfortable than the pads that the backpackers usually have (like yoga mat)...It's adventure, and I have mentioned you that this is an authentique trip, don't expect to find modern comfort, but maybe it was not the right option for you.
Finally, about the cost of the tour, this was a tailored program (starting in afternoon), not a classical program mentioned on our website, you cannot compare the prices...The guide -and because we intend to pay a fair salary to our team !- was payed for an extra day with you as you arrived the evening before.
Just think about the good experiences you had (landscapes, sharing with bedouin people, eating traditional Zarb, sleeping under millions stars...), don't focus on the small points ;)
Thank you for your understanding.

We spent 2 nights in wadi rum desert and it was even more better thank we expected. Salem was really helpfull and reactive to organise and book the tour. And our guide Nayef was perfect. The first night we slept in a cave and the second night in a Bedouin tent. All the meals were very good and we went far in the desert when there is no tourist. I recommend you to book through him if you are looking for an authentic Bedouin experience in wadi rum

Many thanks to Salem Alzalabieh from Jordan Nomads. Thanks to him we were able to live an unforgettable experience in the mythical Wadi Rum desert. Three days of expedition, bivouacs under the celestial vault, rocks and burning sand accompanied by a Bedouin proud to show us the country of his ancestors and his place of life
The organization was perfect, I really recommend it.

We spent two days and two nights in the desert with a wonderful guide Sabbah who knows the desert perfectly and shows us the most beautiful sites. It was very safe. For this trip we contact Salem who organized everything. We discovered the desert with jeep/walking/hiking/camels riding. We did bivouac under the stars. It was a unique and magical experience, there are no words to describe it. Thank to the team Jordan Nomads. We recommend it!

We spent two days and two nights hiking in wadi rum with Jordan Nomads, the tour was well organized, we had long walks and saw different aspects and interesting spots of the desert.
Salem and his staff are very nice and helping people. The cook was great and we had a wonderful time at night at the fireplace.
We highly recommend this tour!

I decided to visit Jordan at this time of year. I do not regret my choice, first of all, I would like to say that Jordan is a country where we are safe. I had the opportunity to travel all over the country and at no time did I feel in danger. Despite the conflict it may have in the region. To enjoy the Wadi Rum desert. I chose Jordan Nomads for this getaway, and I don’t regret my choice. I thank Salem and my guide. I spent 1 day and 1 night at the top. My guide showed me the desert while taking my time. He took great care of me, I really had an unforgettable time, not forgetting the night under the stars. I recommend them to you. Thanks again to them
