About Wadi Rum Jordan Guide
If you're looking for an intimate and authentic experience of the Bedouin culture and desert, let us show you the way! Led by me, Atallah and my brothers, we will show you the desert that we grew up in as we are one of the few remaining Bedouins whose parents still live a nomadic life in the desert. We offer many different types of tours such as multiple-day trekking tours, desert discovery tours in a 4x4 or camel, light hiking tours or a mixture of all! In addition to taking you to the popular tourist spots, we will show you seldom visited locations with spectacular views and reveal to you the hidden gems of Wadi Rum. We always finish our day with a spectacular desert sunset and a traditional Bedouin dinner around a campfire. We'll sleep under the stars or for that extra Bedouin touch, we can spend the night under our parents' goat-haired tent, listening to our father playing Rababa Bedouin music. Contact us to book your tour soon!

Mosa is an excellent driver. He took my Family on a jeep tour around the desert in Wadi Rum. Very gentle, sunny and knowledgeable person. Speaks good English. Very good price. Honest and reliable. Mosa will also collect and drive you anywhere in Jordan. Very comfortable jeep. Plenty of seating inside, also with an option to sit out back and take the scenery in. You will be safe in his hands. Call or WhatsApp Mosa on 00962776874465. Highly recommended. Thank you for a wonderful experience 😊🙏

The Valley of the Moon”, depicted as Mars in several Hollywood feature films Wadi Rum is an Arabian fairy-tale waiting to be discovered. Home to nomadic Bedouin tribes, Wadi Rum is a a quiet getaway of stars, sand, and sun; a perfect complement from Amman’s epicenter. Once inhabited by the Nabataeans of prehistoric times, Wadi Rum allows you to get lost in large landscapes and horizon lines. The calmness of the desert is sure calm your spirit and de-clutter your thoughts. Wadi Rum is waiting for you.   Many movies took a place in Wadi Rum such as The Martian and Alladin.

I booked a 2 hour horseback ride with Wadi Rum Horses. Attalah's son was my guide and he did a really good job. He was always attentive and very friendly. The arabian beduin horses were amazing. They were in a really good condition and although we did a lot of canter I did't have the feeling that they were getting tired. As a quite experienced rider (25 years in the saddle) it was easy for me to handle the well-trained horse. I can totally recommend Wadi Rum Horses, but its definately for well experienced riders only.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time with Atallah's cousin Farraj, our driver and cook, and a group of 4 other French-speaking travelers (like us). We did the full booking and communication with our guides through Whatsapp, and met our group at the village when we arrived. We spent our first day doing the main attractions of the desert, with some trekking and scrambling. Then, after sunset, we reached the camp and spent the evening having dinner with some other guides and another group of 4 travelers. This was a lot of fun as the guides showed us some bedouin songs. The night in the desert was surprisingly comfortable for us, and the view of the stars was impressive. On the second day, we went deeper into the desert and this was much better as we were completely alone, only very rarely crossing other tourists. We also did some activities as sandboarding, jumping on dunes, and other games. The second night was in a different place with other guides, and this time it was calmer so we went to bed earlier. The next day our guides brought us back to the village and said goodbye - it was a very emotional moment for us as, after two days in the desert, we felt we had been touched by it. Overall I will never forget this experience and would advise any traveler to go there for two days at least in order to enjoy the different faces of the desert.

I was looking so forward to my 1 day/1 night experience with this company. Unfortunately, it did not turn out like I had hoped. I emailed the company several times before my trip and they were fast to respond. I booked a 1 day/1 night tour to the off the beaten path locations with 2 bedouins. When we arrived, someone asked what tour group we were with, and then they piled us into a truck. No one ever asked us our names and confirmed what "experience" we were having. We just assumed they knew what was going on, so we followed the lead. Once we got to camp, the guides never really talked to us. No one told us about the plan for night or told us about using the restroom, what we were eating for dinner, what was for dinner, what their life was like, etc. No one said anything really. We sat around the fire and all was pretty quiet. I think everyone was waiting for someone to say something. I was expecting a guide to talk to us. Tell us the plan. Tell us about their life. Allow us to ask questions. I was ready to learn and listen. Nothing. Not a peep. Then, more people showed up. What is promised to be a group of no more than 8 people was now a group of 15 people. Not everyone got to sleep in a cave or on a rock. Some people had to sleep right there together at the camp fire. The next morning, same thing. No communication about the day. When were we having breakfast? What are we having to eat? Is this traditional? When were we leaving to go out and hike? We went with the flow. They told us to pile in the truck. We did. We arrived at our 1st destination. It was full of tourists. I specifically said I wanted to do the off the beaten path option. This was not it. I didn't say anything. It was too late. What could they have done? We went with the flow. One packed tourist site after another. Again, with no info about the name of the location or the mountain and why it was famous or significant. Lunch time. No communication about what this all looked like time wise. We ended up relaxing and resting for 3 hours. Which was nice, but we had no idea. We figured we were stopping for like an hour. 1 hour wait while Bedouin cooked. Then, a 2 hour siesta. Only 1 blanket for 8 people, and we all didn't fit and not everyone really cared to share. Again, nice to relax, but I wish he would have told us - we relax here for 3 hours. After lunch, more tourist spots one after another. Around 5:30, we went to another location. Our experience was supposed to be over by now and we were supposed to be dropped off back at the visitor lot. I told the guide, we were not staying another night. He was surprised. Of course, he had no idea what we signed up for. NO ONE did. Again, no one ever asked us our names. No one had a list to verify who belonged in what truck with what group to get what experience. When he got us back to the visitor center (after driving super fast with us in the back and it was kinda dangerous), another guy came to collect our money. I explained to him that we didn't get what we requested at all. He was very kind and offered us a discount on the experience we did receive. I would strongly recommend you look at another company for an "authentic" experience and for a company that delivers on what is promised. Wadi Rum is gorgeous, and we were able to enjoy and roll with it and not let it get us down. But, I had 1 day across the world to do what I had planned for, and they failed to deliver on any of it. They had no organization and absolutely no communication. We simply had a driver that took us from one spot to another. Big disappointment.
