We arranged the tour with Attayak by email which went relatively smooth. Our guide Aouad was very nice, but not very eloquent as a guide. He specialised in trekking and climbing tours and I had an impression we were a sort of a second class tourists to be taken care of. We saw all the key points of interest for the one day tour, but we had to insist that we visit what was agreed before. I asked additionally to see the third small bridge which was more or less on the way. My request was accepted, but then ignored without any explanation. Wadi Rum is amazing and we saw quite a few amazing places, but I did not like the approach. Nonetheless, overall we had a very good time. The food prepared by Aouad was great, the camp was very clean and relatively small so no crowd around you. We also had a very plesant time by the fire in the evening. Overall a positive experience with a small minus.

One of the best experiences I've had in Jordan and Ive been coming for over 20 years. Attayak was easy to liaise with and Radi our actual guide was a legend. Very humble, polite, friendly and a great cook too, he made the day even better. My wife and I could not recommend them enough. We changed our plans throughout and Radi was flexible with what we did and camping under the stars was a once in a lifetime experience. That day and night will stay with us forever. Thankyou once again Radi and Attayak.

We did the 2 day, burdah arch adn jeep trip with Attayaks brother, Radi. The whole thing was very well organised - lots of information and prompt email replies before we got there, and met at the gates when we arrived.

The Burdah Arch trek was a lot more adventurous than I had expected - but I had absolute faith in Radi as a guide, and it was well worth it (although I got vertigo and chickened out at the end - my husband made it though!)

He was very flexible in changing the itinery (we had sore feet and changed our mind about a big trek on day 2) but gave us plenty of time at each site and we definately saw all the high lights of Wadi Rum - we were also often leaving each spot just as 5-6 other jeeps arrived, having had it to ourselves, these guys know their stuff.

The best bit for me was the camp - absolutely beautiful setting with comfortable tents and a stunning communal area, We were shown how the bedouins cook - and then tucked into the best meal we had in all Jordan - yum! The conversation and company from the guides and hosts were also excellent. I can't recommend this company highly enough. It was amazing.

The lonely planet travel guide recommends Attayak Aouda of Wadi Rum Mountain guides and he is mentioned here in several forums, but our experience with him leaves me to suggest you pick a different guide. Though our correspondence was with Attayak, we actually had an employee of his, which is fine, if he let us know. Worse though is that this employee was only notified the morning that we were suppose to meet him so he was not prepared. He had us wait in his yard while he went to the store to buy food, which included one bottle of water for two of us for 6 hours in 100 degree heat! Even worse, the cover for his truck was broken so we were in the sun the entire time. Lastly, the only way we were able to meet up with the guide is because another guide saw us waiting for a long time and felt bad for us so started calling around to find our guide. I wish I knew his name because I would recommend him. As for the sites, if you're from the US there are several parks in Utah and Arizona that will be more impressive and you can get a feel for the park simply by driving the 4km road between the visitor's center and Rum village. I did not stay overnight so can't comment on that experience.

Attayak organised a fantastic 3 day tour for two of us. Radi was our guide/driver and was great, he cooked some delicious meals (including mansaf when we asked for it), he was responsive to our needs, for example, at our request he modified the initial itinerary, he was knowledgable and gave us an insight into Bedouin customs and life. We had one night in a Bedouin camp and two nights on mattresses under the stars. Thanks Radi and Attayak for giving a us a fabulous and unforgettable trip.

Attayak was very accommodating to our budget and tight timeline and organized a wonderful trip with Ravi as a guide. We met Ravi at the Wadi Rum park entrance at midday and pilled in a SUV for a short drive to begin a 4 hour hike through numerous canyons and absurdly beautiful landscapes. He brought us to the base of a cliff where a cook nicknamed "Shushu" brought mattresses, thick blankets, a shisa pipe, and a very tasty multi-course meal that we enjoyed around the fire together. We slept in the open air and admired the stars. A hearty breakfast was prepared for us the next morning and we had an amazing experience of "scrambling" or hiking up cliffs to a land-bridge. It was a bit challenging but very fun and the rocks were quite forgiving and grippy. We wrapped up around midday and headed back to the park in the 4x4 and had a delicious lunch prepared at Attayak's house. All in all it was a great experience and good value.

we had a 2 days jeep tour with wadi rum mountain guides.
we had great landskape in such an unusual ambient...
Honestly the second day was a bit repetitive, may be one full day and the night over the camp was the perfect tour
The camp is very weel organized, each tent 2 real bed with blanket and pillars (no linens), bathroom had sit down toilet and shower with hot water.
Dinner was also very good and we had final lunch in the family tent of our guide Radi, who was very professional and discrete.
Reccomended!
