Our guided tour program allows you to learn more about the Universe we live in. Living in lively cities makes it more difficult to witness the magnificence of the skies and heavens. Through the innovation of science, we are able to get a little closer to the hidden wonders of the Universe. Stars, planets, nebulae, all are within your reach with RumSky. An entrepreneurial project was started by a group of Jordanians, using state of the art technology and mobile Observatory apps. The program is comprised of the following details: 30 Mins Animated presentation on astronomy in a seated hall. 30 Mins Large Telescopes Session 30 Minutes Laser Show Stargazing Note: We pick you from nearby Camps in Disi Area. Contact us for help on transportation from remote camps.

This was an absolutely amazing experience. Fakhri al Ameri is funny, knowledgeable, inspiring and extremely entertaining. He was so great with our huge group of starters, he coordinated our session beautifully so that everyone got a really good go on the telescopes. He gave lots of interesting and relevant information and he made time to answer a lot, of sometimes annoying, questions!

We visited Rum several times but this one was really different with the amazing stargazing time at Rumsky.
The sky was blue, then Fakhri happened.

We can't emphasize enough how good the tour and the people are! We stayed in Aqaba and asked them to arrange for transport from our resort to Wadi Rum, tour of wadi rum, Dinner and Star Gazing experience... and they delivered!
the highlight obviously was the star gazing experience which is done with a sense of humour and depth of knowledge. Just standing out in the open there without any lights and staring into the sky is an just amazing!
Fakhri Alalami, the astro-photographer plus scuba diver plus a lot more!, is an amazing friend to take you on this journey! It's a definite must do - you will appreciate our universe more!

The experience was good. Would have been better if it was a moonless night. Just one point I need to highlight. They told us that we could request for the group photos that they took at the end of the tour. I dropped them a request but they send me the photos of another group taken on another day. I wrote back to inform them and request for the correct photos. They never bothered to reply.

Please check your junk mail. More than often because of high size photo most email servers send the mail to the spam or junk folder. If you do not find it please write to me at fayez@rum-sky.com mentioning the date of the visit accurately. If you are not so sure we can send you photos of one day before and after.
It is quite common for some guests to confuse the visit date; this quite normal for people spending relaxed vacations!

Star Gazing at Rum stargazing is a must do Activity .. it gives u immense knowledge about our universe .. it teaches u a lot and it's not boring .. Professor Rami has lot of knowledge about the stars and the universe .. They give u free pick up and drop from Ur resort ..
They are very honest as well .. we left our camera at their centre and when v called they confirmed to my relief that it was there .. Professor Rami even dropped it to my resort by walking all the way .. truly touched by this gesture .. Thank U Prof Rami and all at Rum Stargazing..

We went star gazing as part of my friends birthday and the staff made her night so special.
The staff (especially Leo) are friendly and it’s a night I won’t forget.
We were able to see the milky way with without any equipment.
We used special telescopes to see planets and stars and the staff used lasers to mark out constellations to us.
Highly recommend coming here - fantastic night.

A young salesman of this attraction came to our camp and the truth is that we really liked what he told us. The majority of people in our group only speak Spanish and it was important for us that our group was a little group in order to could enjoy the plan. A real mess. They joined us with a group of Panamanians with what we were finally 25 people trying to use the telescopes. Afterwards, there was no path of candles that they had promised us and of that they had shown us some beautiful photos of something that never existed.
The person in charge of the attraction was a man who treated us quite offensively to the point where we came to doubt that they would return us to our camp.
Very bad experience that I do not recommend. Beware of them!

I am sorry stargazing is not what you have expected. Our team are professional and well educated and put customer care at the top of their priorities.
The Panamanians spent a lovely evening and left very excited. We have to treat all our customers with the same level of service regardless of their nationalities. We are all humans under one sky. If people wish to be alone on our telescopes we have the option of private tours outside the time of our regular show.
It is worth mentioning that you did not pay the charge for our service! This is to make the tourism industry aware also.
We did return you to your camp without hesitation as we put customer safety on top of everything.

We saw some great astronomy- Saturn, Jupiter, shooting stars, Milky Way. The talk at the beginning was very interesting but the slides were walked through very quickly without time to ask questions. The guy who gave the talk on the stars once outside was excellent, very clear and easy to understand and answered all of our questions. The view through the telescope was amazing.
Only one negative point - I wish the whole experience could have lasted longer as it felt quite rushed.

We try to strike a balance to satisfy many tastes. Some of our visitors like detailed presentation some do not.
You can always ask any question during the naked eye session and the telescope session.

We had the pleasure of visiting the Wadi Rum site on August 7th - the location as expected was beautiful and a once-in-a-lifetime sight. Everyone we interacted with was helpful, knowledgeable and kind; overall we felt very well taken care of. Highly recommended for the good price, good people, awesome location and great night stargazing experience!

We were not sure what to expect when we entered the RumSky Adventure presentation room to listen to what they have to say. After the presentation, we went out to sit on the cool desert sand, between the blown out candles (it was really windy), to gaze at the sky. To this point, we were all not clear on what we will be doing. Then, one of the presenters used their laser pointer to point out the north star; the entire crowd (over 30 in attendance) were in aw. The laser pointer (professional grade for astronomy professors and wanna be professors) penetrated the night sky to no end. Imagine a laser pointer that reaches every star on the big dipper? Yeah. It happened. The knowledge was great. My 8 year old kid had so many questions, and the staff answered each and every one. Seeing (Via a powerful telescope) Saturn's rings, the moon craters, Polaris, and Jupiter was a highlight real. I recommend visiting SkyRum Adventures for this experience, as it is like no other (Especially if the moon isn't at a full moon stage).

Do I have to be staying overnight at a camp in order to go on the stargazing tour? If not, is there a place where we would meet you at?

You do not need to stay overnight in Wadi Rum.
We can pick you from any point (Free within 5 kms fro us). Chargeable beyond.
