Dear guests, My name is Ahmed. I am a Bedouin and I like to sleep under the stars. Even when I'm home, I sleep on the roof of my house. Instead of going to college, I decided to stay in Wadi Rum and join my father in our family business. My family is born in the desert, as children we played in the sand, we got to know the best spots in the protected area of Wadi Rum. I am happy that I can be in the place that I love and share this love with you, my guests. The desert is, and will always be, my playground. When you come to visit me, we will go offroad in my jeep, we see caves, drink traditional tea with my Bedouin friends, listen to our music, slide off sand dunes, hike, climb, ride camels, make campfires in the desert and tell stories. We have a camp with magic tents (because everyone always sleeps great), dining room, homecooked meals, washrooms and ...stars. Our stars are the best in Wadi Rum. That's why I also want to take you to sleep under the stars with me. Welcome!

2019 SEP, I took part in a 2-day/night Wadi Rum tour arranged by Zain Tours and left unforgettable memories. I was a solo traveler, before I went to Wadi Rum, I was a bit worried and anxious about the uncertainty on the trip. Thanks to Zain Tours for the careful arrangement that made me feel at ease and had a perfect journey.
The magnificent view from the top of Jabal Umm ad Dami, the spectacular sunset/sunrise view, and the incredible scenery are the memories of Wadi Rum I tried to capture with photos. However, there are still some hard-to-be record moments that also moved me. That was an exceptional plan arranged by Salem and Ahmad's family.
Visiting some traditional tents, which perfectly expressed the hospitality of the Bedouin. When sketching the desert landscape under the shadow of the rock, my heart merged with peace and unprecedented harmony. Sleeping under the starry sky made me reluctant to close my eyes and fall asleep. By sharing many teatimes and night chats with Salem and Ahmad’s family, I was introduced to the Bedouin’s sense of belonging to the family, even though I don’t know anything about the Arabic language.
Bedouin's attitude towards life, a simple and optimistic lifestyle, and be respectful to nature is what I admire. Under the sunshine in Wadi Rum, you might even believe that every camel here is smiling because of being well taken care of; therefore they're much happier and smarter. Bedouin and Wadi Rum are worth visiting and get to know. Be recommended to visit Wadi Rum with an open and respectful mind, and your bright and joyful heart would come along on the journey in return.

Evenings in the camp. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed the days in the desert on our own as we wished to. Ahmed helped us to accommodate with full comfort, fed us well and entertained up to late evenings, and he was aways helpful. We enjoyed live music and singing, dancing as well as calm chatting.

We booked a last minute trip for 5 hours with Ahmed. The tour was very well organised, Ahmed is a very kind guide who went beyond what was to be expected. Our son had his birthday and got a headscarf as a present, the food was excellent and rather then 5 hours it became nearly 7 h. I highly recommend Ahmed.

A colleague of mine and I did a full day jeep tour with no overnight. Ahmed was awesome! We are fortunate enough to start travel again after COVID, and I’m glad this was on our itinerary. Ahmed made the reservation process very easy and communicated with us really well until we were able to met him. The tour was great, the food amazing, and the guide better still. If I’m ever back in Jordan, I will be sure to contact Ahmed again and go play in the desert.

Did a 2-day tour. Absolutely amazing! Suliman and the other tour guide who took me on a hiking trip the next day were super nice and funny, and so were all the staff at the camps. Dinners were very good, esp. the chicken. But what made the trip unforgettable were the times spent in the "cave" where all the guests and the staff sat tgt after dinner to talk abt funny things while looking up at the night sky. Made some super cool fds there too! I will one day come back again for sure!!!!!

We did a full day private tour with Suliman who was really Nice and drive us to amazing place with no tourist. We had lunch in the middle of nowhere. At the end of the we arrived at the camp for sunset. Ahmed and his friends are really nice, we had a great night!!

It was a great experience. Beautiful camp and very nice people. Achmed always helped us if we needed something, gave us advice and was always fun to be around. We had a fantastic jeep tour and he showed us many interesting places. The desert is beautiful and we will definitely come back. We can only recommend Wadi Rum Zain Tours.

Hello! I am interested in booking the full day jeep tour with overnight stay for 9 people. We won't be able to arrive to wadi rum village until evening. Could we sleep first at your camp and do our tour the next day?
