Eyal was very friendly and informative during the booking process, information was clear, prices were right. Unfortunately, we were not able to do the tour because of Covid19 travel restrictions, but then again, the cancelation process was easy and our deposit was refunded immediately. We will be looking for Eyal in a future trip to Israel.

It’s imperative to have a guide take you off toad. Not something we could go ourselves. Try to go at sunset Orr sunrise as the colors change with the light. It’s quite a view and what an incredible natural wonder.

We did a sunrise tour with Noam who was wonderful especially with the children. It was a great and very interesting trip in the crater.
I recommend it very much and taking a sunrise tour is a very unique experience despite the early wake up.

The Jeep Tour was just terrific . Eyal was so knowledgeable and also was a great driver maneuvering the narrow and steep crater paths. We learned a lot and got to see so much more than we would have just hiking on our own.

My wife and I had the most fantastic, fun and eye opening experience and fell in love with the Negev with Eyal. We experienced the Ramon Crater and Nahal Zin, hand carved rocks which are centuries old, desert oasis, and a bedouin style lunch with Eyal. He made us tea using extracts of live plant he pulled from the desert floor! Eyal even arranged massages for us after the tour and gave us directions on how to get there. Next time I am going to schedule a multi-day trip with Eyal.

Wow - just wow. Eyal was an amazing tour guide. My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous tour with Eyal from one of the highest points of the crater to the valley below. His knowledge and story telling was wonderful. We stopped at many place to take picture of this beautiful part of Israel, as well as tasting some of the desert plants and having a cut of tea - made on the spot - with one of the plants. A must do....an amazing memory made.

I actually travelled with Eyal to Har Karkom (one of the mountains archaeoligists believe could be the biblical Mt Sinai) in November 2015. I write this review now because I still find the experience to be amazing.
Har Karkom is located in an area controlled by the Israeli military. Eyal is a registered guide, and secured access for me. We drive from Mitzpe Ramon for two hours over mainly dirt roads to reach Karkom. An easy and short climb brought us to a mesa FULL of historic artifacts.
See pictures as my description can not do them justice.
Eyal has a knowledge base that is broad and deep. He grasps the culture, history, geography, geology, spuritual and biblical aspects of the mountain. He is a fantastic guide, who provides everything you could need for a life altering experience.
Three years later, my gratitude remains the same

We took a 2-hour tour with Noam. He was very knowledgeable about the history, geology, fauna and flora of the crater (and of Israel in general). He was also very funny. My kids loved it, especially the bumpy ride in the back of the jeep!

Eyal was both very personable and professional. Our group got a later start than usual because we were coming in that morning from Tel Aviv, and Eyal was nice enough to accommodate. I very much recommend spending extra for the Bedouin experience - those two hours were worth every penny. We then went on to explore the crater, and Eyal kept us engaged the whole time. It's a truly interesting geological learning experience, and Eyal makes for the perfect teacher - he knows his stuff and truly loves it.

Asking for something a bit different can be a mistake. Like butchers, bakers and candlestick makers, many tour operators have a standardised product that they are loathe to vary, exemplifying Ford's dictum: "any colour you like, provided it's black". Well, we asked Eyal Korin for a bespoke tour, with a focus on the region's archaeology, as well as its flora and fauna. He certainly stepped up to the plate and exceeded expectations.
Arriving plumb on time, Eyal rapidly gauged the level and expectations of our party of two. We were then treated to a delightful, detailed and carefully coordinated trip that perfectly matched our expectations. Eyal's knowledge is encyclopaedic, but he carries it lightly, interspersing geology, ancient history, biblical references and contemporary geopolitics with a charming humanity. He well reflects the local contemporary issues of desert-dwellers and camels to bring to life this extraordinary landscape and its hardy inhabitants through the millenia. And no question was too daft or naive. All received a thoughtful response.
A thoroughly modern, engaged and utterly engaging guide. Highly recommended
