My family and I had a wonderful time at Ben Midbar Camel tours. The tents were big and clean and the whole crew was very nice and welcoming. We were served with strong, sweet tea, then we all rode the camels with Adel Walidie as our guide. He did a wonderful job, showed us around, told us about the desert life, food, animals, even found some quartz pieces for us. The calmness and serenity of the vast desert washed over us and the air was very clean. We took it all in 'till we came back to the tents, where we washed up and were served a wonderful meal of chicken and vegetables roasted in a pit and served with yellow rice and salads. It was very tasty, very well seasoned and enjoyed by us all. Just sitting there, feeling the wind on our faces and enjoying the strong black coffee made for a lovely experience. All in all, I highly recomend Ben Midbar Camel tours to anyone.

We took the 4 hours camel tour.
2 parents with our 10 and 12 YO kids... We didn't want it to end (:

The guide we had is a real desert son, very familiar with the desert and very informative. We learned from him how to bake bread using the heated sand pit as an Oven, in addition to a very special lunch he made. The staring/end camp is very welcoming with place to lay a head and hear the desert life, along with a sweet sweet cup of tea.
Very recommended ! We are planing our next tour with Ben Midbar , this time for a 24 hour tour.
Thank you David and Addel !!!

I had some family from The Netherlands to visit me and we went to Ben Midbar in Mitspe Ramon. The late afternoon camel ride was a very special experience and Adel the guide treated the camels with patience and much love. After that we had a traditional bedouin dinner with “libe” bread baked in the campfire. After that we enjoyed a clear and endless starry summer sky which on itself is a special experience. I highly recommend a visit to Ben Midbar.

Sneaky spam, guru like tenant . 2nd visit costed us exactly 2 X more expensive than the 1st one . We spent 6 hours (yes six …) on sight to do nothing , as the camel Ride started 1h30 late (due to the never ending flow of monologs of the guru) and the dinner supposed to be served at 19:30pm was delayed until 9:45 pm. . The outrageous price and the rudeness of the host who served a whole autobus of tourists before serving the starving teenagers … made us swear we won’t ever return.

We absolutely loved our four hour camel tour. Being that it was off season we ended up being the only two people on our excursion which was a nice surprise for our honeymoon trip. Our guide was extremely friendly, informative, and cooked us one of the most delicious meals on our whole trip in the middle of the desert. And of course, how could we not mention the camels? My wife and I each got our own camel to ride out to lunch and shared one on the way back. They were both friendly and easy to ride. All around, incredible day and would highly recommend.

Eight of us came for lunch which was very good. The owner is gracious and friendly. I would highly recommend lunch. We didn’t do the camel tour because of time. Call for lunch because lunch is served in a tent and seated on the floor in a comfortable setting.
Highly recommended.

Wonderful place, healthy camels, very friendly and nice guides and a lovely experience overall. We (3 girls from germany) took an overnight ride with Adel Walidi as our guide and he was expectionally respectful and nice. He has a deep knowledge of the desert and tells stories from the old times, jokes, laughs and makes everyone feel welcome and special. We slept under the stars and woke to an astonishing sunset. Then we had to collect the camels and help saddle them up, and after a delicious breakfast we went back to the tent. We felt safe and comfortable all the time and Adel is a real pleasure to have around. At night he slept far away and made us feel protected and looked out for. We will defiantly come back. It was amazing.

Three of my friends and I did the one-hour camel tour, and it was such a great experience! I recommend the 1-hour ride, it seemed like just the right amount of time. The Ben Midbar staff were very hospitable, and the tea they gave us was great. We walked to Ben Midbar via the Israeli trail- 4.6 km on the Ramon crater, and one of the staff members even offered to drive us back to Mitzpe Ramon after our camel ride. A wonderful experience!

Outstanding unforgettable experience with camel rides and authentic DELICIOUS Bedouin meal, served with love and care. We came with 11 people, 3 families, and kids ranging from 8 to 15 years of age. One person in wheelchair obviously didn’t join the camel ride but enjoyed watching the kids have a blast. Can’t express how good and how authentic the experience was for all of us.

I was with a group and we spent the night in a remote area of the desert with the staff of Ben Midbar. The bedouins are amazing and they love to share their knowledge about the desert and camels. Once we arrived at our location to spend the night, they set up the fire and the food, which was delicious!! The experience was amazing, no internet, no electricity, no bathroom, just us and the stars!
I would definitely recommend them both for the hospitality and for the food! Also, the camels are very well taken care of.
