Gilad was absolutely amazing! He really catered the tour to my 4 kids ranging from 3 years old to 13. He knows lots of amazing facts about all topics of the desert. He's very passionate about his job and really strives to make sure everyone is having a great time. He knows how to keep everyone safe and is a great photographer too. I would highly recommend him for anyone going to the Negev and looking to see and learn more about the area.

This was an amazing tour of the crater that gives Mitzpe Ramon its name. Gilad treated us to an amazing jeep tour of the crater with a detailed explanation of the topography and the unique geological history of the area. He is fluent in English and was a captivating speaker, with clear explanations. We traveled with three generations of the family and everyone came away amazed at what we had seen and learned, and the kids enjoyed traveling off road in the 4x4 jeep. This jeep tour was a highlight of our trip to the Negev

We had a great experience with Gilad. We were with kids (6 and 10yo) and he proposed a great program to entertain the kids - info about geology, plants, rocks. He shared with us ideas on what to do in our free time (restaurant recommendation, hiking possibilities, activities for kids). The highlight was the sunset spot!

My wife and I scheduled a night tour with Gilad during our stay at Beresheet. The weather started to look very bad for stargazing (overcast) so Gilad proactively let us know that he would recommend moving the tour to that afternoon as the visibility would be much better.
We were very glad that we did, as the views we had were incredible. Gilad is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what he does, and really catered the 4+ hour tour for us.
I would HIGHLY recommend Gilad and his tour to anyone in the area that wants to learn more about the marvelous views around Mitzpe Ramon.

My family and I had a great 4-hour Jeep tour of Maktesh Ramon with Gilad today! The off-roading was very fun and Gilad has impressive knowledge of native desert plant uses for medicine and food as well as the geology of the region. He’s very entertaining as he regaled us with stories and facts about the region and took many great pics of us. We saw spectacular vistas throughout, ibex, and even enjoyed some tea in the desert before returning to Mizpe Ramon. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an informative and fun guide.

Brilliant, interesting and fun filled 4 hour jeep tour with Gilad. Gilad is an absolute professional. His jeep is safe, well-maintained and fitted with great shock-absorbers to make the 4 x 4 drive in the machtesh (ramon crater) fun and pleasant. My two boys (12 and 9) loved Gilad's tour filled with interesting geological and geographical facts and figures. His knowledge of the area and its history is very impressive. Just a lovely human being. Thank you Gilad!

Gilad is deeply knowledgeable and delights in sharing his enthusiasm for the crater and desert. He knows every part and area and engages his guests to share his appreciation of this unique and spectacular area.

We took the 4-hour Makhtesh Ramon tour with Gilad, and enjoyed it very much. Gilad was excellent right from our initial contact with him and throughout the tour. He is very friendly, knowledgeable, with very fair business practices and great sense of humor. Highly recommended.

Gilad was absolutely amazing. We were looking for something extra to do in Mitzpe Ramon and I knew my family would love a jeep tour. I was with my wife and three kids aged 2 to 7 years old and it was beyond expectations. He was extremely nice, knowledable, and knew how to handle my noisy girls.

I’ve been to the area many times, and heard many guides, and Gilad still managed to show us new places and teach us new things.
