When we went to Yazd and visited this gallery, i was almost done with redecoration of my room. And i was just thinking, next time, i have to go and choose my carpet first and then match everthing with that lovely thing.
I was so sad that i couldn't match that gorgeous red carpet with my purple curtain and bed clothes.
Dark blue carpet with gold figures wasn't my taste and couldn't beleive that i like it.
Although i have to say the gallery was smaller than what i had in mind, the owner adel is a lovely man who would not let you be alone to discover this wonderland.
I was so sad that i couldn't match that gorgeous red carpet with my purple curtain and bed clothes.

My husband and I were not sure about buying a carpet but we were swept away by Adel's extensive knowledge of his carpets and kilins. We spent hours choosing the carpets and in the end, we were delighted with our purchase. We will highly recommend - he even gave us a little gift to remember him by.

AmaZing gallery for buying kilim and carpet with goooood price and fabulous hospitality and very cool sellers and u can buy and they send ur stuff in any country

As part of my 'getting lost' in the old town of Yazd, I stumbled upon this place. I didn't expect much but turned out spending 2-3 hours inside. The 'gallery' exhibits and sold lots of local crafts - carpets, tiles, potteries etc - that might empty your wallet :))
What I liked most about this place is the library - where I finally spent hours reading some of the books - and the rooftop with priceless view of the old city.

Adel has a large range of interesting and unusual kiln rugs he sources directly from Nomads all around Iran. If you are looking for excellent quality, natural coloured kilns and carpets it’s the place to go! We spent some time there last night and then he come in early this morning to allow us to choose our rugs and buy them. He was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

The Silk Road Yazd Gallery is one of the best places to find the old and original Persian carpets. The tasteful designer of this gallery gathers the best carpets from all over Iran and offers them for sale at the right price.
