The old municipality building, which has a museum and an old clock near the famous clock square, reminds the people of Tabriz every 15 minutes.

I've visited the municipality building a few times. Not only it holds a great city clock which sometimes rings on every hour, but also it has a museum underground in which you can find lots of info about the whole city and its history. It also has a peaceful relaxing yard.
I had a chance to go inside the clock, terrible loooooooooude sound, but very joyful experience, because nobody's allowed up there.

It is stated in the center of Tabriz near Metro and BRT (bus) stations. Building has nice architecture and it is similar to eagle with open wings from sky. Also there is a free museum in the basement. Moreover, in the yard there are some hand made artifacts for buy.

Saat square in truly the Center of Tabriz and almost all the attractions can be accessed from there. The best place is the former city hall which has been turned into a museum now. There you can see the historical events that the city has gone through in years. The building has a special architectural design. Built by Germans in the 1930s, the building resembles an eagle which has spreaded its wings. It looks really beautiful at night with lighting done from the outside.

only main interesting item is municipality building which is called Saat . no more interesting item you may find in this field . unfortunately government doesn't care of historical attractions and as Kabood Mosque area which completely demolished and new buildings constructed without any conformity with Masjedeh Kabood now is going to execute new buildings ,..at north east of Saat square . sorry for losing our historical personality so easy .

A sample of german architecture... Was built by german engineers more than one hundred years ago as Iranian government's order. There had been Tabriz municipality since then and a few years ago, they moved somewhere else and nowadays, there is a carpet museum and also there is always some attractions for tourists like handicrafts.
