The 1st temple I went before going to the city center. It is huge, serene and cooling. Good place to practice/recite sutra. For 1st time visitors to Bintan, can go have a look and feel of the peacefulness.

I wasn't expected this powerful influence of Taoism in Bintan Island. Guan Yin stone statues are impressive !

It all depends on what you want to do. Relatively speaking, it is an interesting place to kill 30 minutes to an hour.
