Awesome experience! So glad they were able to accommodate our last minute booking. From our driver Nata, to our guide Putu, we were taken care of every step of the way. Our sleepy 3 year-old needed help climbing the volcano so Putu carried him up the majority of the way. Not only carrying him, but talking to him trying to get him to laugh and smile. My son still talks about his friend Putu weeks later. The journey up was just incredible, the views are breathtaking and seeing the sunrise from the summit is a bucket list item for sure. Our driver Nata went out of his way to ensure we made it to our next destination. He drove us an additional 1.5 hours, helped us find the last fast boat of the day to the Gilis, and even texted later to make sure we made it ok. Wonderful experience, exceptional people! Definitely recommend!…

The day stared with an early rise or drivers were already waiting for us. Wadi and Dedi were very informative and couldn’t do more to help us and making us feel very comfortable. The lady who was our guide for the climb was absolutely amazing she was very informative and made sure that we were always close by on the assent as we passed other climbers. She provided lots of history about the area and the daily life of the valley. The view was beautiful and truly unique as the clouds cleared it was truly magical. A tour that I would recommend but you do need a level of fitness and comfortable shoes to attempt.…

Having previously hiked Mt Batur on a previous trip, I was looking for something a little different to do with my husband this time and this tour was just wonderful. The hike, as others have mentioned is a pretty cruisy 45 up and a little more on was down and eating breakfast and drinking hot coffee at the top delivered by a lovely local lady whilst the sun rose is an experience I will never forget. Our guide - Anto - was funny, full of information and super helpful in every way too. The hot springs on the way back, were really relaxing too. Well worth getting up in the middle of the night for! PS The local lady who brought us our breakfast was so touchingly grateful for the modest tip we gave her as a thankyou- maybe consider giving her a small token of thanks... she even picked me a rose from her beautiful garden and gave it to me on the way back down 😊…
