About
Bali Top Trekking is a private organization which specializes in Mount Batur trekking and private tours in Bali. We are locally owned and operated by a family of trekking guides from Toya Bungkah Village, at the starting point of Mount Batur trekking. Our trekking guides are well experienced with a national license from the government. We are extremely knowledgeable of the trek routes and geography of Mount Batur, as well as its historical background. It is our great pleasure to show every single guest some of the most beautiful parts of our home village!

Had such an amazing time, I can't explain it in words. You need to go and experience it yourself to understand! An amazing walk up there with breathtaking views. The sunrise is just outstanding. Our guide really made the trip though, we really couldn't have done it without him. I'd do it again in a heart beat! Thank you.

Whilst a 2am collection may not seem great to all, its definately worth it. Energetic, fun filled, laughter and a view that is impossible to forget - you shouldn’t think twice about doing the trek.
Whilst my view was fog covered at the top, you still see plenty from the lake, monkeys and the crater.
Guide(s) are kind, patient to all hiking levels, immediately make you feel comfortable and make an effort to get to know you and laugh with you! I couldn’t recommend them higher.

Great brother (Mank De Jhavu) and sister guide team who were supportive throughout
Wear sturdy footwear, the dust is so fine it gets everywhere, take something warm to wear at the top, it gets cold and breezy while you wait for the sunrise
It is tiring and energetic but they stopped whenever we asked them to and kept us motivated
Package included water on the way plus food (boiled eggs, sandwiches, biscuits & chocolates) and a hot drink at the top, this was more than enough to keep us going.
Our group consisted of quite a few first-time trekkers so we took the gentler route (there is a harder more direct one)
Set off at 3:30, reached summit at 5.30, sunrise was at 6.30. We were down by 9.
We saw the steaming vents in which they cook the eggs, also on the way down we stopped off to take pictures with monkeys
It is challenging but well worth it because the views are out of this world

The hike was tough especially coming down but super thankful for the kind guide that looked out for me and assisted me the entire journey on the way down! It was a really cool experience overall being all the way at the top, we even got to see monkeys as well. I highly recommend this trekking tour to other travellers visiting Bali! :)

DJ and another guide Sutri my friends and I - we were a group of 6 girls - up Mount Batur. The route was challenging but DJ's optimism and energy kept our spirits high. At the top of the mountain he even serenaded us with his singing on the guitar! It was truly a memorable experience for all of us! As we were heading back down the mountain he was picking up litter left behind by other climbers. This is a guide who deeply respects and loves the mountains. We did not see any other guide doing what he did. Would definitely recommend DJ to any aspiring climber.

They made my day! The best tour in Bali. Sunrise on a volcano is already a beautiful experiance, but our guide - Mank De Jhavu - made it very important for a 5year old, who managed to walk the up and down on his own the whole way.
The whole team is great. You can see how much they love this place :).
Highly recommended!!

Because English is not good, I itemize their splendor.
・They are good fellows.
・Their service is always an anticipation
・They completely understand the demand of the client.
・Perfect mountain climbing pace distribution.
I think they perform select of a course to a demand and the physical strength of the client and judge it precisely for the break.
・They love Kintamani and Mt.Batur. It's important to select guide.
・They work on the environmental protection of the mountain positively
・And They are handsome men. Sometimes, It's important to select guide : )
Thank you, M brothers!

Picked up at our hotel on time. DJ, our private tour guide was very knowledgeable about the surrounding since him and his brother grew up in the area. Had breakfast provided while watching the beautiful sunrise over Mt. Agung. 110% recommend these guys!

We did a day tour to the top of mount Batur. DJ was our guide. He is a nice guide. The trekking was nice with fantastic views. Afterwards he did sent us nice pictures of our trip. A positive note is that he took the garbage and some other rubbish which he saw along the way back to the base of the mountain. This keeps the mountain nice in the future.

A friend of mine referred DJ as our guide on my trekking trip to Mount Batur just last Tuesday (15 May 2018).
I would recommend this trekking activity for anyone who is up for an adventure and doesn't have serious leg/knee injury. Despite the mountain being 1.7km high, we had to walk about 4km in a zig-zag motion which took about 2 hours, where we waited for the sunrise. We clocked in approximately a total of 10km on our way up and down. It felt like a great accomplishment.
If you need any guide - DJ is your man to go to! He brought about great energy to have fun conversations with on our way up and down, which made the trekking trip fun. He provided us with torchlights and carried our complimentary breakfast too (consisting of bread, eggs, banana, bottled water and chocolate) so that we could consume it at a top. As opposed to other guides, who might not have a bag to carry it for us. Would 10/10 recommend him! :D
