My partner and I decided to climb Mt Batur on 2nd Jan. Despite the drive there taking 3 hours from Canggu and getting to the base quite late at 4.30, our guide - Karma still managed to get us up in time for sunrise. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying our time along the way, stopping and waiting for me, carrying my bag, he found us a more secluded spot on top of the mountain to enjoy the sunrise, laid down a blanket so we didn’t get dirty and made us breakfast and coffee! We walked around the ridge and back down to the bottom via a different route. We visited the crater, where we got to see monkeys as well! Would highly recommend doing this trek, and requesting Karma as your guide! He was amazing and really made this experience for us 😊

My husband and I, we have the tradition - to climb a mountain in any country we travel (if possible)) so this time we made a tracking in mount Batur to see the sunrise. Our guide was a very nice young local gentlemen Maamwiis, who was very supportive and helpful, told us a lot of stories about the mount, volcanos, geysers local life and traditions. We cooked the eggs in one of the geysers (very impressive) and ate them together with a hot drink on top of the mountain at a relatively private area kindly advised by the tour guide. The breakfast at the top of the mountain enjoying the sunrise created very cozy and memorable atmosphere Thank you for Great experience, we highly recommend the company and this tour guide!

I highly recommend this trekking tour. The trekking itself was not very challenging, but the view on top of Mt. Batur was very beautiful. It is amazing to observe the whole nature woke up and took shape in the morning . The blue fog disappeared slowly in the orange rays of the sun. The magic moments.
I have to say the organization of the tour was great. everything ran perfectly. the driver picked me up from where I live at 2 AM punctually. Our guide Yuni accompanied us during the trekking in a very friendly and attentive way. she paid attention to everybody’s physical condition and then suggested breaks on the way whenever necessary. while we were on the top and waiting for the sunrise, she was running around arranging the coffee, breakfast, including the eggs which were cooked in the volcano steam. she also offered to take pictures of us along the way which was very helpful for solo travelers like me. she was very sweet and attentive which makes the Tracking tour unforgettable experience for me. thank you YUNI!
I would recommend the tour to everybody who visited Bali.

From start to finish our trip to the sunrise was perfect!
Our driver arrived bang on time and sent a lovely message to alert us of his arrival, he was very patient with us considering we were running 10 minutes late 🤦♂️
Our driver then gave us a detailed description of what would be happening next, where we would be going and who we would be meeting. He was very informative, positive, happy and the most important, safe while driving at 230am.
We then picked up our tour guide Armada, who is quite possibly the most wonderful human I have ever met! Kind, caring, hilarious and made a lovely breakfast (more about that later)
We arrived and began our hike, we were equipped with hiking sticks and flash lights. Armada allowed us to go at our own pace and couldn't help us enough. I forgot my inhaler which meant while I was regulating my breathing at the start and I did struggle but only because of my own foolishness, Armada even carried my bag AND his own while I was sorting myself out.
When we made it to the peak Armada laid carpet down on a bench and wrapped us in a blanket after we put our warm hoodies on (it gets chilly at the top, we were reminded several times to bring warm clothes for the top by email and our driver, this is a must!)
Our breakfast was delicious! We first had a hot cup of tea (coffee and green tea was also offered) then Armada made us banana sandwiches and some boiled eggs to munch on while we witnessed the beautiful sunrise.
We began our decent a different way from where we originally trekked and boy! Did those sticks come in handy as It gets abit slippery with some loose gravel, however, any time some gravel shifted beneath me, Armada was checking we were OK and then keeping a score for who slipped the most, he even offered me a piggy back 😅
The decent down is very safe, just watch the loose gravel and go steady. (No steep drops)
We were shown wild growing fruit and temples on our way to the bottom to meet our driver. As soon as we arrived at the bottom our driver pulled up immediately to take us to the Hot springs which was heaven on our tired little legs!
The trip couldn't have been made more perfect by our driver and tour guide

We had the most incredible experiencing hiking Mt. Batur.
We hiked up to watch the sunset where our guide, Kaus, took us to all the spots with a beautiful view, we camped under the full moon where we had a lovely meal cooked for us, we drank hot chocolate and tea, sat by the fire, slept under the stars and then woke up early to catch the sunrise, again, we were spoilt by being taken to a non-crowded spot where Kaus served us more hot drinks and breakfast. It was the most beautiful experience.
Our guide Kaus was very sweet and helpful. He made us feel right at home. Always checking in with us, making sure we are happy, keeping us hydrated and taking us to some really good spots that are not crowded. I highly recommend camping this trip and asking for Kaus as a guide :) I cannot wait to do it again!

I had a wonderful time on my trip today. My driver ngurah was on time, punctual and very educational on certain sites. The waterfalls and temples were awesome, with million dollar views. And the luwak coffee at the end of the day was the cherry on top. Kind regards Ainz

Cannot recommend this tour enough. Our guide Maanwiss was the most lovely man who made sure we were all ok throughout the hike. It was a very professional service and pick up and drop off time was as described in briefing. The view from the top was amazing and we had more than enough time to take photos and enjoy the spectacular view. If you are in Bali I definitely recommend using this agency for the mount batur hike. Special thanks to Maanwiss our guide and our driver. Lovely end to tour was stopping into a coffee plantation where we could try so many delicious coffees.

Kuas was an excellent guide and was extremely understanding and encouraging with helping my mum get to the top. He showed such brilliant enthusiasm when showing us the steam from the top and made sure we were always okay, had plenty of water and made us fantastic food when we got to the top. Would highly recommend requesting Kuas to be your guide he is an incredible man.
The springs have cleaned up a little since the last time I went and they now have better changing facilities. And the coffee tasting was delicious.

We did the Mt Batur sunrise hike and it is worth waking up at 2:30 am to do this beautiful hike. It is the right level of adrenaline and observing beauty in full glory. What made it extra special was our guide Karma who was so patient and understanding while encouraging us every step of the way to continue on a rather not an easy hike. His knowledge about the place and passion for his city was unwavering. I will highly recommend this hike to everyone visiting Bali
