This is the most important Pagoda in Hai Phong. Beautiful building and stunning carvings, surrounded by fantastic Vietnamese ornaments and plant. History in Buddhism.

My guide told me that only women monks live at this pagoda. They were repainting the dragons when I went and it was cool to see.

This is the main attraction in Haiphong to learn more about Bouddhism. This pagode was the most sacred one in the city, dating to 17th century. DONT MISS IT

Stunning carvings on the pagoda roofs and beautiful grottos enhance the whole experience walking round complex. Really provides a contrast of the ancient in a modern city. Try and see the Action & Consequence stories - very funny

The pagoda is located in the old district of the city with more than 1000 years of history. If you are visiting Hai Phong, it is worthy to make some time to visit here.
