Basically there is a viewing platform where you can watch thees birds come in in the evening . Very impressive listening to the song of hundeds of birds. I enjoy my visit there was quite a few Storks when I was there. It a little out of the way if your staying in Can Tho. If your there during the Stork nesting season it worthwhile.

We were cycling between Can Tho and Chau Doc when our guide suddenly announced a stop, which we thought was just a rest break, Not so. He directed us to a high platform accessed by a spiral staircase at each end. Not being too comfortable with heights, I generously allowed my wife to ascend (alone). Such was her enthusiasm when she got to the platform, I had to quell my anxiety and join her.

We were looking down on hundreds of nesting storks and their chicks in this vast sanctuary. It was amazing and well worth the visit.

When we got back to terra firma, another surprise was waiting. Our guide had ordered lunch at the adjacent Anh Thu restaurant and it was superb. A great surprise stop and lasting memories.

if you arrive there in late afternoon, you will see a lot of storks and birds. Because in the morning storks and birds go out to make a living
