It was very interesting tasting the different products which were made right at the Muoi Cuong Cocoa Farm. The family are very proud of their business and the money from additional cocoa products bought by tourists goes directly back to them. The iced chocolate was delicious!

better than i expected, just a small farm producing 4 tons of chocolate per year ,the owner Mr Bin is very enthusiastic about his chocolate and very happy to chat and tell you about the chocolate making process , after showing you the process he will offer you a free drink , hot chocolate or a cold chocolate with ice , take the cold with ice its so nice ..........not easy to find if you drive motorbike yourself as i did as very few signs , entry just 2$ , maybe stay there around 1 and a half hours

Interesting to see the whole process of chocolate making from the plant to the ready product.
The owner explained and demonstrated things and also our own guide did.
We saw the plant, dried cocoa beans, the chocolate (100% cocoa content, very bitter), the process of getting the cocoa butter out and alcohol made of cocoa.
Never seen that before so interesting.

Unfortunately we could not visit the farm. It says that it’s open until 12pm. We got there at 11:30pm and they told us it was closed already. It should state somewhere when the last visit starts.

We found the site and saw the samples on the table and bought some delicious hot chocolate and walked through the garden and out again, but we didn't learn much because there was no one to explain the operation. What a pity.

My friends and I went to Muoi Cuong Cocoa Farm during our stay in Can Tho.

What made the visit extraordinary, was the “storyteller” who happened to be the owner, as well.

The cocoa itself is also really nice if you want to bring a present to your friends and family at home.

Our visit exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely recommend this.

We visited here after Cai Rang Market and noodle factory. As far as we know this one is the only cocoa farm in Vietnam. You can walk around and see how to make a cocoa powder, white chocolate and you can taste these and the cocoa “wine” as well. I think it’s actually a liqueur. :)

About 30 minutes by car from the center of Can Tho, if you turn off the main road onto a narrow side street, you will come across a small but lovely farm. This is Binh's cacao farm. Here you can actually see and touch many kinds of cacao. You can also learn about the cacao processing process from Binh himself. Binh's lecture is given in good English and is very polite. If you have the chance to come to Can Tho, this is a place you should definitely stop by. It has a very nice atmosphere.
