Good place for family time, Even more beautiful in the evening.
Jan 2020
The day I visited the place was quite late so I didn't get a chance to check out the tower itself. By the way, its surroundings, especially the park and the dancing fountain zone, were absolutely beautiful. In the evening, the lights were on, making the place very peaceful and romantic. Moreover, since there were many flowering trees in the park, the soothing scent of the flowers spread all over the place. FYI, during the evening time, it is open for free and local people usually go jogging or walking and chilling out there. However, in regular time, the ticket costs only 10 Baht for adults and 5 Baht for kids. Actually, there is also the water park inside, but it is not open daily, only on weekends and special holidays. Overall, this place is very suitable for family. Parents can plan to picnic and enjoy the nature while letting your children have fun playing in the water park. Near the place, there is also the night walking street called Khun Krai Night Food, where you can enjoy many kinds of local street food. Really recommend this place :)

Worth a visit to the tower and the water park for a swim. The information about the history is interesting.

360 Panorama

Some listings on the internet claim that Banharn Jamsai Tower is the tallest observation deck tower in Thailand. At 123.25 meters high, it certainly is the tallest in Suphanburi, but it is dwarfed by the observation decks at Baiyoke Tower in Bangkok, which soars to 343.3 meters.

Nevertheless, it offers the best 360 degree views of Suphanburi City and its surrounds - out to 50 km on a clear day. Unfortunately the day we visited it was raining non stop, so the long views were shrouded in mist, but we will enjoyed looking down on the city we had spent the last two days exploring.

Entrance is Baht 40, for both locals and foreigners, which is a pleasant change in a country renowned for its discriminatory pricing.

Banharn Jamsai Tower is sited in a pleasant and well maintained park, which also features a palm garden, waterfalls, carp ponds, water fountain plaza, a kid's playground and a Buddhist shrine.

Superb location

This must be one of the highlights of our stay in Suphan Buri. For a very small fee you get to see the entire city from all angles. Its more impressive to watch from below at night when its lit up. Highly recommended if you are in town.

A tower with 360 degree views of the city and beyond
Jan 2017 • Couples
This tower doesn't look all that impressive in the daytime, but is lit up in a beautiful cream colour at night. It is surrounded by a lovely park which has an admission fee of 10 Baht during the day and possibly more in the evening.

The park contains plenty of greenery, a large multi-level waterfall, a pond with stones, various sculptures and seats to sit on. To go up in the tower lift, there is a 30 Baht charge during the day and 40 Baht in the evening.

The lift operator first takes you to the 4th floor where you can see a 360 degree view of the city and beyond and can take a closer look through large binoculars. There are also some exhibits at this level. You then walk down the stairs to the 3rd floor where there are souvenirs and other goods on sale. Next, you go back to the lift where the lift operator takes you to the second floor where there is a 360 degree café selling drinks, meals and ice cream among other things. After this, you return to the ground floor again.

It is a very pleasant way of spending an hour or two.

Great view of Suphanburi and surrounding areas

This place is right in town. If you were to go on the tower, on a clear day, you are able to see as far as Uthong. There is a coffee shop on the tower where you can enjoy the sight and drinking coffee. The coffee is not so great though.

First you pay to get int the gardens and then the tower. On arrival evryone was friendly enough you get the lift up and there is a lift operator on the way up they asked where we wanted to go floor 4 for the view 3 for the shop or 2 for the coffee shop. We went to 4 and enjoyed theview. Then with a baby with us we wanted to sit down and also use the bathrooms to chane the baby fine. Worst coffee ever but not expnsive. Then i thought lets try the shop but by this time the lift operator had changed and the new 1 was rude saying if you want to go up a floor you have to buy another ticket you can only go down. This contradicted the original operator who said up to you where you go first as we already had tickets. Most staff were great but the 2nd lift operator spoiled it
It is air conned inside great for a hot day but theres not much to it and paying entry twice once into the park which was to hot to look around and once into the tower its not best value. If the resteraunt had better food and coffee at a little extra cost it would be better

Banharn Jamsai Tower is a perfect place for travelers to get bird-eye view of SuphanBuri Province. You get to see all the attractions from the tower. The tower itself is beautiful with small souvenir shops.

The tower offers an excellent view of the city (and far beyond!). The surrounding garden and fountains are really neat, and there's a museum nearby regarding the (late) prime minister. Worth a visit if you have an hour to kill.
