Modest wat compared to the main temples in the historical park. Its main interest resides in the well-preserved series of elephant heads circling the base of the structure. Another site, Wat Chang Lom (not featured on Tripadvisor,) about half a mile East of the old...More

Smaller ruin but we loved it. It basically comprises an impressive chedi set on a plinth supported by elephants. Doesn’t take long to see but worth a stop on the cycle tour.

This edifice is one of those well preserved ruins found in the Historical Park. It's very interesting because of the elephants that surround its base.

Part of the old city of Sukhothai. Just to the north of the main gated park area. Great condition and worthwhile stopping for a look as you see the other attractions.

This is an amazing temple (Wat). The structure and shapes make for fascinating shadows and pictures when the hot sun is out!

This is one of three Sukhothai park monuments surrounded by elephants. The others are Wat Chang Lom in the East site and Wat Chedi si Hong in the south site. Wat Sorasak is close to the royal city, midway to the North site. You can...More
