Definitely worth the visit when you visit Sangkhla Buri. The shape of the golden Colour temple was construct like the pyramid shape with small buddha statues surround at the structure . Temple still doing some minor renovation work and the two giant lstanding lions at the entrance of the temple will definitely catch your attention.

The stupa is huge and beautiful. We spent about one hour at the temple. The stupa is under restoration. The ground level is also nice.

Don't miss an opportunity to take a picture of Buddha in motion, as it's definitely not something common. Buddha is outside of the main building.
What was interesting for me was to see women doing reconstruction of the floor close to the entrance of the temple. Is seems that genders in Thailand are really equal.

This huge chedi resembles Bodh Gaya in India and is not too old.
You can walk up on different levels, and it's just peace and quiet.
To get there you need a car, bike or bike taxi.
There's a lot of market stalls selling (Burmese) souvenirs.

Very nice temple that contains artifacts of Buddha. Once you walk up the steps and after you make your offerings, be sure to ring the bells three times apiece. There are some very large and small ones.
Walk towards the back and you will see a spectacular view of the lake. Note this is the same temple that you will see on the shore, if you do the sunken lake temple tour.
Overall a nice temple, with a great view.

Wat complements different from those found in Thailand. Its architecture resembles more Burmese. The inner renovation of the temple is finished but the outside part has not yet. The shape of the golden colour temple was construct like the pyramid shape with small buddha statues surround at the structure, really nice to see.

We came to see the bodhgaya replica, the main shrine was rather impressive. But other parts of the temple seems rather run down, the place was filled with dust and debris. I think some funds is required to improve, otherwise a really nice temple with multiple shops outside selling crafts goods and local specialties.

Most of the renovations are now complete and it really is a stunning chedi that dominates the Sangkhlaburi landscape. The design is not traditional Mon, but it's a brilliant design that resembles an art deco structure with hundreds of different Buddha images in various materials set into the gilded surface. It was constructed with local Mon support and it symbolizes a triumphant assertion of Mon identity amid hostile surroundings.

The chedi is currently being renovated and you can't really get up close to it. You can walk around it and get some photos but that's about it.
