Stopped here on way into Pai on our scooters. Definitely didn't time it right (2pm) as it was like a rubbish version of Love Island! Full of young English travellers (30 ish of them) who had taken over the place, making it inaccessible to anyone else.
Streams of groups kept arriving, taking a photo, and leaving.
Would recommend going early in the morning perhaps to avoid the crowds.
Not much else to do here so it's a "stop, have a look, have a dip if you can, then head somewhere else"

The drive from the main highway was fairly long but very scenic. The road condition was very bumpy and mountainous. When we arrived at the Pam Bok Waterfall, we were charged 30 baht each. It was a short hike up a dirt and somewhat dangerous trail with wooden boards for steps in one area. Upon reaching the end of the trail, the waterfall was only partly visible and very small as well.

Seriously 200bht entrance fee to see this little waterfall?
20 bht for what was until 2021 freely accessible would have been feasible.
Pai changed to a Disneyland. If this is for you enjoy. I don’t think this is sustainable.

Not much to see here. A bit of water falling. Dry season might be to blame but yeah, not impressed. Not enough water to swim at this time of year at least. Pretty easy to access though.

The road out to the waterfall is poorly sealed and has huge pot holes, its ok if you take it slowly. The waterfall is a short walk and was freezing cold. There were a few people swimming.

Dirty and dangerous 300m to the waterfall from the road. Don’t do this on slippers!
Once there, it’s a very busy touristy spot. Also, plastic pipes along the water are not very attractive.

We visited in rainy season and it was still dried up, barely a trickle of water was flowing down the waterfall and the hike wasnt exciting enough to warrant the trip

Beautiful waterfall, you have to go to the very end to fully see it. Take some aqua shoes of you have them as the ground is a little sharp in the water. We went with our toddler and make it to the end but you have to climb a little. Stunning. There is also the land split on the way which is free and worth stopping at

Cool waterfall with brand-new bridge: I was the first one to cross over it as I asked the guys building it if I could :-) Place to jump off rock about 3 or 4 meters up with some deep water for safety. Otherwise just sitting there looking at the falls was nice and relaxing. Had to carry out other peoples trash b/c they're lazy and rude so please don't be one of these types of travelers. You're a guest so act like one.

Very mediocre. However I do recommend parking up your scooter 2 km short of the waterfall and walking along the road. Very nice forest in this area.
