They pick you up in a Ford pickup truck at the designated location mentioned in their website, at least they did when i went. No scooter needed.

They have a pick up place where you need to go.. but if you text them over Facebook they will tell you where it is.. normally you don't pay anything but if you liked it you would give a donation (500 baht). Also you can... More

Hi, we were there about a week ago, and not yet. Guides told us it would be "any day now" :), however, that elephants can be months overdue if necessary.
