Best recommend to go before noon since it's crowded after that. There's plenty of parking lot. Quite humid. Easy to find local cheap food.

This was a stop on our tour of Nakhon Pathom and delighted all the senses. Colorful and tasty displays, fantastic foods and the people shopping were rarely tourists. Although advertised as a "floating market" this doesn't include vendors in boats. The stalls are setup on...More

We spent a couple of hours here. Had a good lunch overlooking the river and bought lots of fruit & vegetables; much cheaper than in Bangkok. The area includes a temple complex all of which is pleasantly unspoilt.

This beautiful old styled market will take you back to an older time in Thailand. Set along side the river, the smells and foods are truly unlike other markets in Bangkok. One for those that like to take the road less traveled.

If you to experience a truly Thai local market then this is definitely the place to be. Hardly patronized by foreigners, you can find all sorts of interesting local food here. Don't forget to try out the riverside restaurant and also the yummy coconut ice-cream!

came in lazy afternoon and did not had much expectations - I was wrong. The market is big and very unique with many food items that are long disappeared from Bangkok streets. Authantic and special.... many restaurants on the river side - but we choose...More

We went on a weekday and on the following weekend. Weekday is much quieter and not everything is open but on weekends it is full (and I mean FULL) of Thais visiting. Not many farang.
