I found that visiting this famous wat is a must for those who come to Phitsanuloke another aspect that I like to encourage is follow Thai cultural ritual of releasing wild animals, like fish, eels, shells, etc back to the wild.( merit making ) You can easily find them in front of this temple as per photos. In order to support nature and local livlihoods, I strongly recommend call directly to vendors as per photos. Am certain that after you did your merits making you will be much, much happier because you had shot so many birds with only one stone! 1 Releasing wild animals back into the wild 2 releiving the poor vendors of their sufferings of making their ends meet 3 you end up being one of the happiest person by releasing wild animals back to the wild, help poor vendors, feeling good for what you did and how your hard earned cash was spent wisely…

There is more to see than meets the eye here. It is easy to get to. It was quite peaceful when I was there and it was enjoyable to walk round. You are allowed to climb the walls and steps which was good for photographs.
