About
Welcome to one of the last of Koh Tao's non-commercialised beach bars. Relax on the two beautiful private beaches and enjoy some quality cocktails in paradise. Our friendly staff make it a wonderful experience for individuals and family alike. There is plenty of shade, sand and sun, as well as wifi, water activities and a nightly fire show. Grab a drink and enjoy one of the prettiest bays of the island!

I love this place. Water literally at your feet as you sip your drink at high tide. Full of character and characters. Always such a friendly vibe, amazing music too. It's a bit off the beaten track, so feels like you've discovered a hidden paradise. Definitely worth seeking out. An uber cool bar, I can't wait to return some day to hang out under the palm trees and look out across the bay again. Keep it real guys 🤩 keep it piraty ☠️☠️☠️

Why The Hype?
Dec 2017 • Friends
Honestly, I'm not sure why everyone is raving about this bar. I went there, the drinks weren't cheap compared to the rest of the island (they didn't even have a happy hour). The view is nice, but the bar as a whole was just meh. The bartender even left while I and my friend were there so we couldn't get another drink. So, not sure what was up with that, but we took our business elsewhere.

What an amazing, hidden little gem!

My partner and I ventured out to the find this place after dinner one night after reading the reviews and were not disappointed!! Walk down as far west as you can down Chalok beach, past the sunshine resort and you will get to a wooden/concrete walkway across the sea (see the pic). Walk across it, you'll go through a restaurant and then continue on to Pirate bar! Its an amazing little place with a great atmosphere. You should definitely go!!

Believe the reviews- well worth a visit

Everything we read on TripAdvisor was correct. It's difficult to find but totally worth the effort. Cool vibe, a great place to visit. To find it you get to Chalok beach and whilst facing the sea turn right. Go as far as you can to you come to a concrete platform over the water. Walk along, go through a restaurant (they do a good BBQ in the evening) and in 50m you are there. Note, if the tide is in you can't walk along the beach, so you will need to walk around the roadside.

Awesome hideout!

This is a cracking little bar hidden away on the beach (quite hard to find). Great drinks, amazing atmosphere and when we were there was a guy doing fire dancing which was great!

Best bar on Koh Tao!!!
Sep 2016 • Friends
The bar is secluded on the beach and the best spot to have a relaxing night! Steve plays the best music and there is a restaurant close by that will bring your food to the bar. Definitely worth the adventure to go find it and hang out for the night. Oh yea, they also have the best dog on the island. He's the best Basset Hound ever.

Hidden treasure
Sep 2016 • Couples
Eventually found this bar by walking through a restaurant and a rickety boardwalk but so worth it. Just at the side of the sea a lovely bar hidden from view the only hint there is something there are the candles burning. Just stunning view of the bay lit up at night with great drinks, the sound of the waves lapping the shore amazing.
Needs more people to find it or those walking past to stop and try a drink there.
It is a hidden treasure try it
