Having always loved the ocean and snorkeling my wife and I decided it was a great time to get open water certified and explore what was out of reach of the breathing tube.
The Dive Wishes team got us squared away and on their speedboat the next day. First thing we loved was that we had the boat all to ourselves, as beginners we were excited but uncertain initially so the personal touch really helped. Captain Joe knew all the spots like the back of his hand and Mosquito the boat boy had us geared up and effortlessly in the water double checking all the details so we felt confident and safe. Once below the surface our dive instructor who we fondly referred to as JS “Jack Sparrow” took charge and the learning began.
It was the perfect blend of place and time and I took to it with certainty and relished in every moment, but my wife wasn’t so sure. The fear of the unknown was larger than she had expected and she had a hard time letting go and joining the underwater world. JS didn’t flinch, his patient teaching and techniques to get her comfortable and moving down at her pace led to the slow building of confidence. By day 2 she had time to reflect on the wins of the previous day and was excited again, but once in the water the doubt crept back in. Once again JS took the time and magically had her making baby steps toward the confidence she needed to actually notice all the amazing flora and fauna and enjoy the things she came to see rather than just surviving the class. By Day 3 we were through training and skills and fun diving was the task, with all signs pointing to success we had one last hesitation but the personal attention allowed by the private group paved the way to her scuba bliss. By the end of day 3 she couldn’t wait to go more and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you TS, Tom, Captain Joe, and Mosquito for an awesome time.

We did the beginners open Wacourse course and some snorkling and had the boot for ourselves. The crew and espacially the instructor, Pot, who really met our individual needs. He always gave as a feeling of security and helped overcome initial anxieties. I don't thing this would be possible in a langer group. So this individual diving course wit a sensitive instructor was perfect for our family, espacially the children (11 and 14 years). We went to the most beautiful places and saw amazing fish and corals.
The team was very friendly and helpful. They aimed to find diving sites away from the crowd and reacted flexible to the situations. On a day with quite bad weather ( which got even worse during the trip), they tried to find a sites on the other side of the island, where the sea was more calm. So we still could complete our course and do some fun diving, while the rest of the family could enjoy snorkling.
All together, an amazing experience.

We stayed at the Miracle Guesthouse for 5 nights and did our deep water license with Dive Wishes and More while we were there. I can highly recommend both. The owner, Tom, was extremely friendly and helpful with anything we needed and he patiently explained everything in detail as we had been a bit nervous about going diving. One advantage of this diving school is that they have a programme where they can adjust the course to the trainees’ needs.
Our dive master, Miguel, was a very competent teacher who took us to fantastic dive sites, made us feel safe at all times and was interested in any questions we had. We could not have wished for a better teacher to accompany us on our first dives. We also really appreciated the small size of groups (not more than 2 trainees per teacher/for us it was just the two of us, our teacher and the sympathetic captain Joe).
Thank you very much, Tom, Mig and Joe! We will remember our trip to Koh Tao and the dives with Dive Wishes as one of the most amazing experiences we gained in Thailand.

The Dives was amazing. Good crew and diving gear. I love the small groups (max 3 People) alot.

During my stay in Koh Tao I signed up for SSI Open Water course with Dive Wishes, they were very well organised, nice equipment and fast registration with SSI organization after passing a course. I was on a solo course and that's made all the difference, same price as everywhere else, but without the crowd. Instructions were focused on me, which enriched the whole experience.
I had a lifetime experience with them, everything was organised perfectly and safe.
The instructor made sure I was able to deal with pressure and breathing, explaining everything very clear but also in a fun way.
Definitely coming back to Koh Tao and advancing on the certifications in the future with Dive Wishes!

Dive wishes with Tom is just the perfect way of discovery dives far from tourism tour.
Tom is very Nice and very very available and adapts to your Schedule and your desires.

Just got back from wonderful stay at the Miracle Guest hotel - Dive Wishes and more!! No only are the rooms really nice, the bed is really big and not hard as most beds in Thailand. The rooms were cleaned everyday and the lovely staff left everything very tidy!! We also made us of the SSI open water certification for diving offered by the hotel. Plus they also arranged the scooters for us! Great experience as we had very skilled and friendly instructor on a private speed boat. So no waiting for other people and getting tailerd advise and guidance! All in all we had The best stay at the Miracle Guest house and w’ll definately visit them again! Warm greatings to Tom, Nana and Sensei!

This was our second time we go on a snorkeltrip with this crew. It was amazing! Todays trip was included 3 dives for my husband. Really good and qualified!! The children of 2 and 6 liked the snorkeling and jumping from the boat also. Next time see you again!

My partner and I stayed in the Miracle for 5 days. We dived with Dive Wishes which is a part of the hotel. We had a great experience. The guide was professional, friendly and accomodating. We went to the wreck, white rock and the junkyard divesites. All have their own special treats. All in all a great experience. Definitely recommend!

Overcharged for 2 dives (3200B) whereas in Koa-tao center it cost up to 2000B.
they promises private boat with up to 4 divers. on the last minute they add 6 more people for snorkeling trip. Also we dive with beginners divers and me and my partners are advanced.
Only drinking water was offered on the boat with no extra snacks - in the price they charge I would expect more.
Dive sites changed in the last minute to places we didn't want to go. It seems that the manager (Tom?) is very rude and influence the stuff with unpleasantness atmosphere.
