Beautiful Beach, good with small kids, good snorkeling

Great beach with kids. Sandy and shallow in the middle, corals for snorkeling to the left and right of the bay. Saw 2 black tip reef sharks there.

Aow Leuk is one of the must-go when you are visiting Koh Tao. The beach itself is just perfect. There is closing time though which is 5pm.. so go there before!!

Hire a longtail boat to go around the island and stop at different places For Great snorkling. Visit the different bays and discover the Great underwater world of Ko Tao

The water was crystal clear, visibility for snorkeling quite good and the bay is deep enough and had enough water to swim in despite extremly low tide everywhere else on the island.

The beach is such a clean, deep, and clear beach. The main area is perfect for swimming while both sides by the cliffs are wonderful for snorkeling. There is a very nice family run restaurant that has great food and clean bathrooms. In several months of traveling, this is by far one of my favorite beaches to spend the whole... More

Beautiful small, very small bay beach with crystal clear waters and areas to snorkel. A couple of great places to get food and drinks with sun loungers and a top noch ice coffee! Great for a day trip to unwind

I absolutely loved this place and wish I had heard about it earlier. We rented bikes for the day which made it easy to come and leave when we pleased, not a lot of taxi traffic in this area. The water is deep and cold, such a luxury compared to the shallow hot beaches that you get closer to town.... More

Great snorkeling, but be careful with the owner (I think). He does not allow to bring any food or drink from outside, and that's ok. But we saw a scene, happened few meters from us. A lady had a bottle of water, as soon as this man saw her, he run to her very aggressively shouting in Thai language, and... More

This is a private beach, so get there before 5pm, because that's when they close it. The beach is the cleanest I have ever seen. And the snorkelling here was almost as good as my diving course. I saw a lot of beautiful big fish and even a little shark!
