Nice easy beach and snorkeling

Beautiful little bay on the East Coast of Koh Tao. Only about 10 minutes on the bike from the main town and definitely worth the drive. Very clear water, nice coral and huge vaiety of fish makes this a must-see part of the island

This is an easy beach to get to by scooter with only a short section of gravel road which is not too steep. The beach has nice clean sand (coral sand) with a great shallow section in the middle for kids and good snorkelling to the north and south of the bay. There are two restaurants there, again one on... Like others have said this is a great place to snorkel-when the weather is right. I went on my first day-- 800 baht round trip taxi from hotel-- and it was rough seas day. Mostly only good to body surf-see my pictures. No one could snorkel or dive. But, later i hired a long tail boat for the day and... More

Spent my last full day on the island here! Beautiful! We bought snorkel masks during our holiday, we used them a few times but I have never experiences anything like when I snorkeled in Aow Leuk Bay! We rented flippers for i think 50TB each in Sairee where we were staying, rented a little moped and drove up to Aow... More

My favourite beach and snorkel spot on Ko Tao. The coral is alive and in great abundance. There are many varieties of fish and all easily accessible from the beach. The restaurant to the left of the beach if you are looking out to sea is excellent. Very well priced food and drinks and the staff are very friendly. A... More

The water are magical and there is a big area of sand, great snorkling site as well. If you know how to drive it's easy geting there with moto, but not for new drivers.

Decently sized beach, you can snorkel but most of the coral is badly damaged. You can take a taxi there and back or it's just 30-40 mins walk back to town.

Great for Snorkeling! Easy access and there are already many fishes swimming around your feet when you step into the water. Many fishes between the rocks and corals.

We came here on recommendation from the hotel. The beach is frikin amazing. And the amount of fish that you see. The pictures will speak for themselves. I will put up some of the underwater ones soon (if I remember)
