I had the pleasure of diving with Rob and Vern during my time in Phi Phi, and I can’t recommend them highly enough.
With over 400 dives under my belt and 20+ years of diving experience, I can honestly say that I thoroughly enjoyed my dives with them.
Was it the quietness of the dive boat at the start of the season? Perhaps.
Was it the vibrant health of the reefs teeming with huge shoals of fish? Maybe.
Was it the included choice of delicious meals in the 2-dive package? Possibly.
But if I’m being honest, the real reason I had such a great time was the exceptional nature of Rob and Vern. They are incredibly friendly, professional, and have a wealth of experience in the diving industry. They’ve been diving since they were kids, literally!
I spoke to representatives from all three dive shops on Laem Tong Beach, and it became evident that they are not all the same. Diving with people who genuinely want to give you the best experience is a world of difference compared to diving with someone who treats you as source of income. Just goes to show that not all PADI dives shops follow the “Put Another Dollar In” mantra.
I’m absolutely certain that I made the right choice by choosing Rob and Vern so much so that when I return to Phi Phi I’m 100% sure I’ll be diving with Leisure Dive Center again.

We were looking for a fun relaxed dive as a family who last dived 3 years ago and wanted to get back into it. Verne was very helpful with the booking, even as we had to move it by a day. After a quick pool refresher, she took us out today with half the family snorkeling while the others did two dives. The dive sides were only minutes away on the big and calm boat from the pier which made for a very relaxing and convenient experience for all aboard (no way to get sea sick on such a short ride). Verne guide us professionally, pointing out all kids of animals and even took some pictures and sent them. You be in good hands with her and enjoy nice diving around Phi Phi. We certainly will do it again.

Verné is the best scuba instructor anyone can ask for. She made me feel so safe the entire time. I would recommend this duo (Rob and Vern) at leisure dive centre to anyone who wants to have the time of their life below the surface of the ocean. Fruit snack was amazing after the first dive and lunch also 10/10. Best captain, best scuba crew, only the best memories. Ps they can also take underwater photos!!

Snorkeling excursion. It lasts 4 hours and they take you to 3 different places where we have seen many beautiful fish and corals.
They are very attentive and help you with everything.
Lunch is included at the end of the excursion in a restaurant next to the center.

The treatment by Rob and Verne was excellent. Verne showed us how to use the equipment needed for diving and taught us the basics in the pool at the PP Erawan Hotel, to familiarize us with it and ensure safe diving. Then we went snorkeling in Maya Bay, an idyllic place. Verne was attentive to me at all times; when he saw me performing well, he gave me a little more freedom, but he always remained close, constantly checking the oxygen level. I felt very calm throughout, which was reflected in the use of oxygen: the first dive lasted 40 minutes and the second, 45. I never felt overwhelmed. It was an unforgettable experience! Thank you!

I had an amazing experience at Leisure Dive Center! Verne was incredibly patient and friendly, taking the time to explain everything thoroughly and making sure I felt comfortable at all times. The equipment was in great condition, and the overall experience was fantastic. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great diving adventure!

As a not so experienced open water certificate, but an absolute fan of nature and under water diving, we went for Leisure diving close to our resort on Ko Phi Phi Don. Rob and Verné are absolute super friendly and hard working professionals, making sure the experience is fantastic. You can take 2 dives per tour. My dives had an average of 50 minutes. Rob and Verné know where to take you and I went again the next day, because I enjoyed it so much.

Wow what an experience! I can’t rate Rob and Verné high enough. Verné was a superb instructor and so good with kids. Verné guided me and my 12 year old son through our open water dive course with cool, calm and clear instructions and enthusiastic encouragement. They were flexible and worked out the trips accommodating our entire group so that those that didn’t dive could snorkel. So much fun!

Very professional and gun diving center. The diving center is run by a nice couple and is really fun to dive with. They really take the time for you and have a nose for high quality dives even in rain season..
