A very nice little Island

Oh what a wonderful peace of earth. We enjoyed the hours very much. A nice beach, clear water...sometimes to many people....but still a great place to visit

We went in a tour to Bamboo island and we loved the beach. The sand is soft and white (not too hot) and the water is amazingly warm and refreshing. We were there for 40 mins which was more than enough time, as the island is quite small. The food and drinks on offer were quite pricey but that is... More

This place is a slice of paradise. Can get a bit too crowded with flocking tourist boats but there is always plenty of space for people to lay a towel on the sand and relax. Beautiful water and a nice addtion to the island hopping tours offered in the area.

We did a private tour around the 7 points of interest in Phi Phi and this was our favourite one. Definitely worth a visit and the National park fee (400 bahts same for Maya Beach and if you go the same day you only pay the fee once). This island is beautiful and it's a shame that it was a... More

Well for me it's just another Island, quite expensive for everything. Beach was nice but the sand is very fine and going up the beach is hard work and the legs tends to sink in. Sea water super clear. But the area is full of tourist causing nature attraction to be overlooked. Kids made a sand castle there but did... More

This is one of the many little islands around PhiPhi that we visited during our day trip but was probably the less interesting. Nothing special to see except for a kiosk destroyed by the tsunami with a board with the description of what happened.

Whilst visiting Krabi, we went on a boat trip to see the different islands. One being Bamboo Island. It is beautiful and hard to believe it is in the middle of the ocean. When the Tsunami hit, it damaged the structures on the island, which have been left as they are and it is still picturesque.

I don't know whether it's because I'm from Australia we are spoilt with amazing clean beaches but I don't get it with place. It's overcrowded, the water is dirty, the coral and reef life has been decimated and the facilities are terrible- quote from my husband ' Worst toilets in Asia'. To be honest the whole Phi Phi Island experience... More

It must be a really wonderful place when you are alone there, but also in low season the number of selfloving people with selfie sticks was a mess... Never again
