Best school on Koh Phangan :)) Started taking massage classes here for my education visa since Aug 2023, and I can't speak highly enough of it. I've learnt so much in the past 6 months - Traditional Thai, coconut oil, royal and medical. It's also been more than just the traditional classes, they incorporate additional classes to teach different Thai traditions and practices. Now I know how to give traditional massages AND make coconut oil / herbal balls from scratch :)) But my fave part so far is the events that they hold - it's helped me experience authentic Thai culture that I wouldn't normally have experienced otherwise. It also created the opportunity to meet all the teachers and students from other classes that I don't usually interact with. The teachers are lovely - kind, encouraging and very knowledgable. It's obvious how passionate they are about the things they teach and it shows in the way they host events outside of the classroom. Pictures don't do the events justice :)

Set beside a serene lake, C&M provides the perfect environment for learning and reflection. The warmth and genuine kindness from everyone here make it feel more like a community than a school - every 'Sawadee' is heartfelt. Navigating the Education Visa process was a breeze with their help, and every lesson has been a step towards feeling more integrated into my new home. The teachers here have a remarkable ability to make learning engaging, fun, and surprisingly easy. They don't just teach the language; they weave in cultural insights seamlessly, truly immersing students in Thai culture. They offer an education that transcends textbooks, nurturing a deep appreciation for the Thai language and the local way of life. C&M is a truly special place that has enriched my time in Thailand immensely. Five stars well deserved!

My review will be of an on going experience and not a one time experience. In the passed 9 months I have been going to C&M culture school and have been studying Thai cooking. The lessons are always very professional and fun. We are learning new and tasty dishes. The teachers are very patient and kind.

I have already completed 9 out of 12 months of my Thai massage course at C&M Culture Center and can say that it was a wonderful decision. I am fully satisfied with my experience so far and would choose this school again in a heartbeat. Whether you have prior knowledge or not, the teachers, staff, and fellow students create an environment that is incredibly friendly and familial while also being very educational. Although I am a therapist with my own practice in Germany, I was able to learn many helpful techniques and routines and gain a deep insight into the Thai perspective on the body. Of all the classes I have been a part of (I am 33 years old), this learning environment has been the most pleasant. There is a truly wonderful vibe between students and teachers, both during and outside of class. It offers an excellent environment to quickly build a social network on this beautiful island. The rhythm of class days and free days allows quite some time to review what you’ve learned and fully enjoy the island. For me, everything from the school's organization worked perfectly. The staff was always courteous and committed, and I was always informed in a timely manner about what needed to be done for the student visa. This made me feel in good hands at all times. The teachers are each a personality and a treasure trove of experience and knowledge. In addition to regular classes, there are always opportunities to participate in regional and national festivals, further deepening the insight into Thai culture. I can warmly recommend this school to anyone interested in Thai culture and Thai massage!

Choosing the 12-month Thai massage course at C&M Culture Center was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Despite having no prior experience in massage, I was immediately captivated by how easily I could follow along in the classes. This was largely due to the excellent learning materials provided and the warm atmosphere, which made learning not only effective but also enjoyable. The teachers are all unique in their own way, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to the classroom. They emphasized not only mastering various techniques and styles but also the importance of feeling into the tissue, which deepened my understanding of what is truly important in traditional Thai massage. The interactions with both teachers and fellow students are always respectful and supportive, making the learning experience truly enjoyable. Out of all the educational settings I have experienced, this one stands out the most! The school’s organization deserves special mention as well. I was consistently kept informed about all the necessary steps, particularly concerning my student visa, which provided me with a strong sense of security. Additionally, the school provided numerous opportunities to participate in regional and national festivals, further deepening my understanding of Thai culture. Attending celebrations of Thai holidays at the temple, in particular, was a culturally enriching and enjoyable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend the C&M Culture Center. Booking was easy, we could choose what meals we wanted to learn to cook authentically. It is a great sign when you have Thai locals attending to learn how to cook with you. Kru Cherry and the team are fantastic, we had lots of laughs and no matter what your skill level is prior you will all be welcomed, and looked after. We all cooked green curry which was the best we have ever had, then Thai spring rolls and then Pad Thai. I suggest not eating before you go. We have also been provided full recipes and methods to ensure we never loose what we were taught and experienced today. Had a great time and would go again to do more dishes, like some others there who have been 10 times.

This school is the best. If u want learn how to cook real Thai dishes this place is perfect. And Kru Cherry is the best person to teach u this. Big love for all team C&M Culture Center. That Was a big pleaser spend time with all of you.
