About
Blissful and idyllic. White sands to sink in, calm waters to chill in. Cocktails, fruit shakes, good food, gorgeous sunsets. We think: paradise.

Obviously there is nothing secret about is beach. But with that name I was kinda expecting some no crowd kind of beach, secluded. But as soon as you step in you realize you are in a short strip of sandy beach dominated by a bar/restaurant with loud music all day and lots of people. The water is clear but do not even try to walk into the water without shoes, it's covered in spiky dead corals and rock and even with slippers the ground is so unheaven that you'll lose your balance every other step, forcing you to walk like a crab. If you walk southern you'll find a small hidden spot between the rocks that's usually empty, and further down a nudist beach. Average compared to other beaches in the North of the island.

We got there by the sunset and enjoyed beautiful views, nice swim as well. The beach seemed to be very clean and the overall feeling was very pleasant. We went for aperitivo to the restaurant on the right side and I must say the interiors there is something beyond any goals for an island spot! The use of bamboo and local materials amazed us, the place was full of swings and happy people feeling as kids again. Food was good as well.

Lovely beach with chilled vibe definitely one of the nicest around that's easy to get to. One tip is to walk to the right as you hit the beach and go along up to the Koh Raham beach bar. Very cool setting and atmosphere and if you walk all the way through there is a little open part with steps down in to the sea where lots of fish swim and good for snorkling.

Haad Son, or Secret Beach, is one of the newer beaches in Koh Phangan. It was only developed a decade ago as part of a larger resort on the coast. Just a short swim out from the beach, and you’ll come across a coral reef you like it for sure and good spot for snorkeling. Haad Son is relatively protected and safe, and it is incredibly popular with families is generally not considered to be a destination beach, but a lot of tourist stay at hotels within walking distance and love having access to the white sand, blue water and beautiful views.and a magic sunset time.

It's not a secret that this place is beautiful. The bar has great food but expect to wait at least an hour for your food when it's busy!

I visited this beautiful beach almost everyday while staying on Koh Phangan. Although this is beach isn't that secret (anymore) I loved the great setting an the relaxed uncrowded athmosphere. Staff from the bar was very friendly and it was great to have served some food as well.

Nice beach, its not so secret though! A big sign tells you its there!
We parked on the rd as its a steep drop to the car park.
We walked to the right and found a mermaid statue and a swing.

Great for sunsets.

May have been 'secret' at one time but now is very touristic. Full of people, many smoking, making noise. Beach full of cigarette butts. Cafes playing music so no peace on beach. Sad to see a pristine beach ruined by commercialism and greed. Also lots of tourist boats coming in making noise and dropping even more people for greed and money. Many more quiet and beautiful beaches on Koh Phangan. However, if you have a group of noisy loud people who want to smoke constantly and throw rubbish then this place is Just for You !

Clean, peaceful and empty beach with beautifully blue water. If you go here, make sure to check out Haad Son Resort and the AMAZING restaurant - in terms of view and cozy factor as it's filled with swings, decorations, and goes out into the ocean making you feel like you're almost at the edge of the world. Didn't try the food, but just hanged out at the tip of the restaurant in the hammock. Such a serene feeling
