Over 25 great years diving from Chaloklum Village on Koh Phangan in the Gulf of Thailand. We're the PADI 5 Star centre offering personal dive training plus high quality diving trips to Sail Rock, Anthong Marine Park, Koh Tao & more. Our policy is still small groups (max 4), individual care, environmental awareness, long easy dives & consistent high standards. This is how it should be. Absolutely fantastic. Friendly, transparent, safe, fun, respectful, customer orientated, very small groups (my wife and I had 3 days our private dive teacher just for us). Special thanks goes out to Michael our fantastic german dive teacher. We felt very comfortable with him as a teacher and private person as well. Cheers and best greetings from Sebastian and Mari

The best Scuba course in Thailand! Nick, the owner, and his wife, are caring and welcoming. The instructors, Michy and Francois, are outstanding. They are extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, and great at making important material easy to understand and enjoyable. Our group of 7 was thrilled with our experience, and found this course to be more in depth, and prepare us more fully, than any of our friends who'd been certified in other dive shops/areas of Thailand. Can't recommend enough!

From the moment we met Nick we instantly felt comfortable, his experience is very apparent and he offers great advice.
We did trips to sail rock on two separate days as it was low season and we were trying to fit in diving around kitesurfing. Sadly we couldn’t make it for other locations.
We had Maria as our dive guide and she is excellent, great pre-dive briefing and led us around to see the marine life. We had some great chats between dives too
We would definitely return to dive with Chaloklum diving again to do that beach dive with Nick that we chatted about.

I have completed the PADI Open Water course with this company, and it has hands down been the best decision I’ve made in my Thailand trip so far. Mickie, Francois and Nick are all true professionals who made me and my friends feel comfortable and confident the entire time! I was terrified of diving before my first session with Mickie. But after 10 minutes in the water with him all those fears disappeared. He teaches you all the skills and techniques you need to keep yourself safe and enjoying yourself.
I can’t recommend this diving course enough! If you are even considering it, do it!

I've spend one months on this lovely island and was looking for a serious diving school, when I walked accidentally (fortunately) in "Chaloklum Diving",
I felt myself directly comfortable and could literally feel the experience what this guys are representing.
I'm hundred percent sure I've got teached by the dive instructors in the best possible way, what was the main reason to do the advanced open water course straight behind the first one.
The owner are very kind and honest persons, too (they would never send you out for a dive when the conditions are bad!)
Thank you very much for making my stay even more special on Koh Phangan!

We booked a scuba review and 2 "normal" dives with Chaloklum diving.
Communication with Nick was very pleasant and even though our inquiry was very last minute he got everything organized with ease.
The scuba review with Michi was very detailed and he took a lot of time reviewing the skills with us.
Unfortunately, due to bad weather conditions, visibility was not great when we were there. Nick was very honest about it and recommended a day trip on a chartered longtail boat rather than a trip to Sail Rock, which turned out to be a good idea.
The equipment is well maintained and all in all we had a nice dive experience despite of the bad weather conditions. Would definitely recommend!

Top company, we walked up the main street of diving firms toward the north side of the island. After speaking with a few it was clear these guys knew there sh*t. We had Micky, a very humble and interesting German diver who made our day awesome. Highly recommend this company. As compared to other companies in the past the dive master knew things we hadn’t heard or thought of doing with our kit before. He swam at a suitable pace for us to see lots of the coral and fish. The breakfast provided was standard, but the lunch was fantastic!

We did a scuba diving day with my wife who did her scuba diving discovery.
Our guide was amazingly patient and gave to my wife very clear, precise information and guidance. He had her dping exercises such as emptying the mask, stabilizing and so on before starting so we can say she did a real discovery!
As a comparison, in France she tried and it was a disaster.
Here it went just Perfect! She is no more afraid of diving, so a big thanks!
We will definitely go back to chaloklum diving center.

We, a family of four, had a great experience with Nick and his team at Chaloklum diving! When we first met Nick on our search for the right diving school, he gave us a confident feeling, which matters a lot to me. Unfortunately, the dive spot options were limited to one location, Sailors Rock, but we had a great time anyhow. Our dive master Michael turned out to be an enthusiastic, patient and relaxed guide, who showed us many of the marine miracles around Sailors Rock. We didn’t have to do anything but enjoy the dives. Our equipment was set up and changed for us, we enjoyed breakfast and lunch on board an we didn’t even have to carry anything on or off the boat. Thanks for spoiling us!

This past week my six friends & I took the PADI open water diver class with instructors Francois & Mickie. These two men were so patient, informative, and beyond helpful. Not only did we learn how to be confident with our equipment & skills, we learned how to be comfortable and love our time underwater! Nick, the owner, was such a kind and fair guy who really took care of accommodating our bigger than typical group. I cannot recommend this dive school enough! Such a lovely experience - I’m totally hooked and can’t wait to dive again!

Is there a way of transportation or pick up to get to your diving centre?

Hi,
You would need to organise your own longtail boat to get to our dive centre in Chaloklum for 7.20am.
When the diving is over you have time to catch one of the scheduled taxi boats back to Bottle Beach.
