We took the tour to Angthong marine park. The bus driver was exactly on time and was really nice. The guide on the boat was really nice. The boat was clean and good. Lunch was good. Unfortunatly, the wind was strong and all passengers on the boat really suffered for the first hour/hour and a half. There were a few issues with the trip, snorkeling was in a place with very low visibility and boats kept on arriving forcing us deeper and deeper into the sea, which was dangerous, and we ended up smelling and breathing the engines of the other boats. The kayaking wasn't good as the kayak was faulty and we were left behind and it took half an hour before we received a replacement, by that time we missed the tour the group did. In spite of these issues we had a great day, as the views are great and the places we visited were really good. I would suggest to better inform passengers in advance about the risk of strong wind on that day, and to improve the safety while snorkeling.

Thank you very much for taking time to write a review. The issues that you’ve stipulated are constantly in the list of our things for attention and improvement. We regret that they affected the experience that you had with our company and would like to comment on what is being done to improve our service in these areas. First, regarding the weather conditions. Unfortunately, the sea has been rough and stormy for about one month and a half here already. So, we’ve been watching carefully on the weather forecasts and trying to choose the best days for traveling. During this period we also reduced the number of people in our groups to 20 max as this is the amount of people that we can place on the rear side of our boat, which is less bumpy, to ensure maximum comfort possible in these circumstances. Whenever clients contact us directly and ask about the sea condition, we inform them about the situation honestly, so that they could make their decision consciously. Second, the condition of kayaks has been an issue for a while now. Unfortunately, we can’t affect this as they are provided by the Park administration and at High season times, like now, when there is more tourists, it’s sometimes difficult to find a replacement for the faulty ones promptly. That’s why we usually advise our clients to wait until they get to the park and make a decision about taking or not the kayaks, as it very likely they will be satisfied with plenty of other activities available at this area. Third, regarding the safety of snorkeling area. We have been trying to find another snorkeling spot, but seems like the one we use is the best in terms of itinerary. We are making our best to be on each spot before other boats arrive and thus leave our clients more space to enjoy the nature of Angthong, but at High season times it can be also more difficult to manage. Nonetheless, we are happy to hear that your overall impression about the trip was good and would like to ensure you that we will not stop improving our service to provide best to our clients! Thank you for choosing our company and have a great time in Koh Phangan!

I took this trip with 4 of my girlfriends. We had a blast! The crew was professional, courteous and well spoken in English. The boat was clean, well kept and comfortable. The day went so smoothly, I felt like I was very well taken care of. The owner even saw us off at the pier in the morning and greeted us upon our return. Very friendly and personable service. Thank you!!

Really great day with OceanDrive. I like it all - pickup from the hotel, very cheerful english-speaking guide, cold drinks, hot lunch and... snorkeling. I've never seen so much fish, corals and hedgehogs at all. And of course, viewpoint. It was the best spot. It you can get to it! :-)

It was such a nice day on Angthong marine park. Beautiful scenery that we could enjoy only with our little group, because we were the first to come to each spot before other tourist boats. The boat is new and fast and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a lot of cold water and soft drinks. The lunch was amazing - tasty dishes of Thai cuisine. We have spend a beautiful day with friends! And came back at a very good time - just to relax a bit and go out somewhere.

Great day trip to Anthong national park with Ocean Drive yesterday 29th Jan. Everything about the trip was fantastic - including the weather - the trip was really well organised....leaving a little early to stay one step ahead of the crowd. We were alone with the crystal clear sea at the snorkelling place for a while just just before some other boats arrived. Guests safely was well looked after and good clear instructions given by the guide (Eu - sorry that's probably not how to spell the name) who was really funny and informative. A quick snack then off to the next stop taking in Monkey Island along the way.... no actual monkeys here just the silhouetted rocky outline of a monkey, looking like a movie set from King Kong or Jurassic Park, likewise for the impressive rock formations jutting out of the ocean. Next up is a stop at a lagoon. What a picture postcard that is - another movie set a la The Beach (not actually from the movie but still sparks the imagination). A longer stop next for a hot lunch and we were so lucky but a troop of monkeys decided to pop down out of the trees to eat their leafy lunch right outside the lunch area!. After lunch a choice to climb 500m to the top viewpoint or laze on the beach. Well, I can laze on the beach another day so opted for the hike up the hill..... in flip flops - probably not the greatest idea! Sheesh... not for the faint hearted or infirm - it's quite an undertaking in the heat! An hour to get to the top and back ..... hmmmm I think it took me a little longer but I was super slow. Still, it was totally worth it! Breathtakingly beautiful. Aquamarine ocean, dotted with colourful boats and rocky islands totally covered in dense green jungle. Stop a moment and absorb the beauty and appreciate your surroundings. And of course let your legs recover before starting the descent. My legs were like jelly by the time I got to the bottom....so headed straight for the ocean to cool off and relax before the trip back. More monkeys made a brief appearance in the trees at the back of the beach, giving everyone a big thrill. We were super lucky with the weather and the ocean was like a lake on the return, everyone chattering like old friends on a shared experience. The day was rounded off after the trip with a meal with great friends and afterwards a massage. The Best Day. I will remember it for a long time. Thanks to Ocean Drive.
