Where you get the deep knowledge of Thai Culinary Cooking!

Started 2006, with the same main teacher, Aon. Outstanding skills,+40 years of Thai cooking experience.

We do 3 classes per day, 7 days per week; Morning, Afternoon and Evening, all different programs.

You as a part of the group choose what dishes to make, individually you choose type of meat; chicken, seafood, prawns, vegetarian and for some dishes beef.

Everything is done individually, from first cutting to spice level etc.

We also do Private classes and longer classes for professionals and amateurs, where you can learn practically every existing Thai dish from someone that know how to do it!

Veggies, Herbs and Spices from our own garden (mostly), Freshly squeezed coconut milk and curry paste made on the premises.

Everything done in our Classic big Thai Teak house, all designed for as a Cookery School in a quiet area of Prae Ae.

Two-way transport, welcome drink, cooking book, coffee, tea and water is included. Many other drinks for sale

Very Welcome to an experience above the rest!

Deciding to take up a cooking class impromptu, we did a "walk-in" to enquire about the class. Nita explained to us about the lunch and dinner cooking classes, with the latter having more dishes. We signed up for a lunch class the next day, and were told that we will be picked up from our hotel. Coincidentally, we bumped into... More

Me and my partner throughly enjoyed our cooking class it was low season so it ended up being just us two, which made it even better! The owner and teacher was fantastic and we learnt so much! Also enjoyed eating the results, can't wait to try out what we learned at home.

My wife and I had a lovely time learning 4 of our favourite dishes. Due to Low Season on Lanta, we were the only two students so was brilliant one on one learning. We were even taught food substitutes that we can supplement at home for unavailable items. Lots of left overs so come hungry!

While staying in Koh Lanta myself and my two sisters went to Lanta Thai for the lunchtime cooking class. All I can say is this is a must do! The lady who owned it and taught us was brilliant and we learnt so much. Got us all doing everything, not simply watching. We got to pick 4 dishes within the... More

The teacher was local, professional, and very talented. We made some very yummy dishes from things grown out of her own garden!

We definitely wanted to do a cookery course while traveling in Thailand and it was a good idea on a rainy day in Koh Lanta. We were a group of 14 and chose 4 dishes all together: chicken satay, golden bags, massaman curry and mango sticky rice. It was so so so cool to cook those dishes and the lovely... More

Great cooking school, where we learned a lot about thai food and ingrediensces. We cooked 4 dishes and even went to the market afterwards. Even our 11 year old boy, still talks about this experience, - and he now want to cook thai foo for us. Thanks.

That was the most fun I've ever had cooking. The teacher was informative, professional and laid back all at the same time. I enjoy cooking as much as I enjoy having my teeth pulled, and the four hours I spent at Lanta Thai Cooking School was probably the best part of my trip. Our group had so much fun and... More

Overall the course was quite good. The staff was friendly and happy to be there. I was under the impression that we were each able to choose what time of meat would go in the dishes (i.e. shrimp, pork, beef, chicken or tofu). However, when we got there the only options were chicken or tofu. I don't eat chicken, and... More
