Really quiet and beautiful beach. Takes a little effort to get there but it's really close to Paradise I'd say. One little bar at the beach itself which is playing some music and one bar on the steep path down to the beach. Overall laid back feeling and great water condition as well. Just be cautious when going down the hill to the beach. Will be 100% worth it.

So pretty beach, not so crowded with people, crystal blue water. Was a bit difficult to go from the beach because of the downhill. Down at the beach there is one small bar to buy drinks. And a bigger bar/restaurant on the top of the hills. But they do play music as usual.

Monkeys seems to live there, one stole my chips haha!

Such a beautiful little beach, blink and you would nearly miss it. Myself and my husband and 4 other travellers we had met that day all decided it needed a visit after spotting it from a quick scooter pit stop.
We all quickly decided to go swimming and jump some waves and headed straight into the Andammam Sea for some fun. For the first ten minutes we all had the best time, laughing and commenting on how big the waves were and how many there were. Two huge waves took us off our feet and dragged us out, away from the beach. We all noticed quickly we were being dragged by the current and shouted at each other to swim to shore. One of our friend's had only gone in waist height so she was already safe.
All of us the struggled to make any gain on the strong current of the water. Panic set in and I could no longer fight the huge waves that kept tossing me in all directions. I am a very strong swimmer but this was a force I had never felt before. I quickly tired and couldn't think clearly anymore, I thought I would die. Our friends (a couple from France) made it back first, he came back for me and guided me to shore. He saved my life. My husband was 4th back onto the beach but behind him our friend from China was struggling, and he was still very far out.
My husband ran towards the bar (the only sign of life on the beach). The thai bar owner came leaping out with a life jacket in hand and ran into the sea without a thought for his own life. He managed to reach our friend with just seconds to spare, he brought him ashore and helped carry him to safety, our friend couldn't even walk as his muscles had seized.
This thai guy saved his life without question. He risked his own life for him and all of us (especially our Chinese friend) could not thank him enough.
We rate this beach 5 stars as we want all our our gratitude and love and appreciation of the thai bar owner to be recognised by the many.
He is an absolute hero.
We will never forget this beach for the rest of our lives.
Swim safe and enjoy the beautiful Nui Bay Beach.

We felt compelled to write this review as soon as we arrived. Sadly, this once beautiful beach has been completely ruined and turned into a tacky tourist attraction. You have to pay an entry fee (!?) and another fee for sun beds. The bar plays horrendous music and serves tacky drinks. There are plenty of gorgeous, unspoiled beaches close by so don’t waste your time.

It's quite a way down the island for many that stay up north but well worth the trek... Lovely water, not too many rocks, in a quiet sheltered bay, with just one beach-shack restaurant.
Beware their coffee... It's super strong Nescafé...

I was there in beginning of March, 2020
The place is so nice, nice beach, nice view

When I was there in the morning it was so perfect.. No monkeys 😅
But around 11am they are many monkeys come down to the beach and they are so aggressive even you stay away from them they might run to you and try to fight, steal stuffs.. May be they are hungry.. I don't know.. Just be careful of those agressive monkeys

small nice beach only reachable by steep walk down from the street. No beach without a restaurant....- but here you may get some monkeys - depending on their mood - they may inspect your belongings - or ignore you

Our favourite beach on the whole of Koh Lanta. Hidden away in a cove with just one gorgeous beach shack "Robinson Crusoe" serving refreshments. You won't find large groups here, we visited in April and only 6 others occupied the beach. Another bonus is that the shoreline is not rocky, so you can walk your way into the sea without the worry of sharp and jagged rocks! Soft sand, warm water, a little cave at one end - what more could you wish for!

A small beach, to short if you want to walk or run, but perfect for a quiet bath without too many tourists around you. Water a bit cooler that on other beaches, which is nice when it's really hot. A little shack sells snacks and something to drink.

To get here you have to take a tuk tuk or drive yourself - there's a small parking space up by the main road.
