Hello, we are sorry you had a bad experience.
I'd like to comment on the "aggressive part", which is completely not true. You have your opinion and I have mine. The only thing I ask for is that you let me know right away if there is a problem, like this we can find a solution together. Most of the people, like you in this case, don't mention anything when it happens and then you write a review after 1 month. How am I supposed to know which regulator is leaking when you didn't tell us? How can I know which dive guide are you talking about? This is the concept I am trying to transmit to everyone writing a bad review. Instead of talking when problem arises, you chose to tell me via a review 1 month after. Unfortunately, this doesn't help me improve my business. I haven't been able to fix the regulator because you didn't let anyone know (by the way I would like to mention that the certified divers that dove the following days after you, didn't have any problem with the regulator). Also, we always have an extra regulator/mask/BCD/fins on board, from what I understood from our staff, you haven't told about the problem and haven't asked for the extra one. Again, why? Since you are an advance diver as you claim, you should know that a mask can be broken but there is no such thing as "mask leaking". Facial hair can cause a leak but not the mask. The mask was not broken from what it seems you have written which confirms that your husband has either put it incorrectly or had a lot of facial hair through which water entered. In this case, whatever mask you would put on, in whatever part of the world, the result would be the same.
Another key thing that you need to note for the future, weight depends on the wetsuit and the sea water. You cannot us the same weight in your log book from a dive in Europe with a 7mm wetsuit, and here with a 2mm shorty. You would have been way too overweight!!! We put 6 kilos per customer on our boat, impossible there was a shortage. I am pretty sure you didn't understand that what you want to put on yourself would be unsafe for you.
PADI certificates can be looked up by name, last name and date of birth - the 3 things that you have given us when you check in for the dive. We don't need to see the plastic cards to know you are certified, usually during your open water license you learn that.
I do want to apologize for the smoking people, as a non-smoker I also get very bothered by that. We tried to prohibit it but many people complain and this is why we designed only the back of the boat for smoking. However, I completely understand this.
To conclude, please come forward next time you have a problem immediately. This is a good way to help us improve and also gives us a chance to satisfy you. I don't think when you go to a restaurant and have a hair inside your soup you let the staff know through one month old review, do you? Happy Bubbles!
