I don’t know about High season, but now late sept off season - it’s a ghost town. At least this area of Koh lanta 75-% of the ‘resorts’ and cafe / restaurants are closed. Other beach towns (Koh Yao Noi, Koh phi phi, etc) still operate. Around here it looks abandoned - on the beach especially. Trash (we all use non renewable stuff, so i know I’m to blame too), refuse, and 90% of the restaurants are dilapidated and falling down.
Maybe covid hit this area and they never rebounded. Bc no way are these resorts going to be tip top by December for high season. I’m staying in a nice hotel (“resort”) and I see no other guests in a space of probably 100 units.

Lovely long sandy beach, ideal for walking (or running). Some rocks at one end. Lovely to swim when tide is in.
Plenty of bars and restaurants on the beach, which comes alive at night. Not too noisy just a friendly atmosphere.

This is the cleanest and quietest beach I've visited in Thailand.
Having toured across the south of Thailand with my partner, we have visited multiple beaches, though this one was a pleasure to visit.
The water is clean and there are no ridiculous water sports or touts here!
Should you get hungry or thirsty, you will find multiple restaurants, shops and bars dotted along the coast line, selling great food and drinks throughout the entire day.
We also found the beach to be very safe.

Looking forward to visiting again sometime soon!

This beach is heavenly. The most serene place for a solo traveler who is looking for some peace and looking forward to get to know themselves. From the very minutes of the morning till after the sun goes down it is possible to swim. There is of course tide, but who cares? Walk a little bit more into the sea. It is extremely family friendly, and not very good for making friends if that's what you are looking for. The beach is very close to the marine, hence why it is cheap to get there by tuktuk. There is a big 7/Eleven right on the parallel road, banks, book store, local restaurants, and a mosque. There are some great massage places as well. The beach is not rocky at all as opposed to some others in Ko Lanta. There wasn't a single night I didn't go for a casual run with no fear of stepping into a rock. Affordable great food, reggae music and fire shows, the faint smell of the sea is all together makes this beach perfect for families and solo travellers who are self sufficient.

This was our beach and it was great with the exception that umbrellas were not allowed. Great swim in high tide, close to Saladan and motorbike ride away from other attractions in Koh Lanta. Go to main road for restaurants if the hotel ones are not good value for money. Great sunsets.

On this beach you can take nice walks, but they offer also some water sports even in green season. Great for kids as well. Along you can find restaurants and bars to refresh yourself or to enjoy sunset.

Rent a beach front place for a week and chill here. It’s the most central beach on the island, amazing sunsets and large enough to run around, swim and play frisbee. There are some amazing boutique hotels and huts along the strip and some fancier hotels also. Best location in Koh Lanta and only a 10-20 min drive to the other beaches so easy to explore. Enjoy!

Very nice beach! Perfect to bath or just relax. Lot of restaurants, bars or massage places. Sunset can also be viewed from there. One of the best in Koh Lanta.
