We went to this today it was great crack and a was a nice break from the hot day. Some basic but delicious thai dishes to cook and then eat while learning a bit about the ingredients along the way. The chef toi is a great laugh too. The toilets and the restaurant could do with a bit of upkeep... More

After eating at this fabulous beach side restaurant and tasting incredible authentic Thai cuisine, we decided to take the cooking course offered here. It was fantastic, Toey the teacher is just brilliant. Full of knowledge and passion about his wonderful culture and cuisine. We took the 5 hour evening course, Toey took us to the local market and introduced us... More

We did the lunch time course and had no waiting around. Just cooking and eating. We were a little disappointed we didn't make curry paste from scratch but that is the evening course. It was a good little day out and activity but if you are looking to get some actual skills like knife skills etc. you won't find it... More

We took an evening class and overall we had a nice afternoon with some people we meet and the very entertaining teacher. But having tried other cooking classes and travelled for 12 years in Thailand. The content was quite shallow and the level to low. And you could feel the teacher have said the same things 100 of times -... More

I took the evening class with a trip to the local market thrown in. Our chef Toi has got to be one of the funniest guys I've ever met. Also really knew his stuff. Made learning about 20 different types of aubergine actually quite interesting! Back at the school and we made four excellent dishes, eating them on a table... More

We can really recommend the course to every one. It was a lot of fun during the 5 hours and we learned a lot about the thai culture. The great part was, when we ate our own cooked food at the beach. Fantastic!!

I took the evening class which lasted 5 hours. The class was interesting and cooking with Thoey is really funny and easy! He explained about all the ingredients used in the Thai kitchen and followed us preparing all the dishes. I didn't take any notes since Thoey promised to send us the recipes + the certificate. I send 3 emails... More

We took the lunchtime class, was 3 1/2 hours and 1500 B. We walked as we were staying just up the beach at Sri Lanta (beautiful) resort. My partner has never even cooked an egg but his love of Spring Rolls and my ranting that a f****** lifetime of English pies was making us like Billy and Bessie Bunter ensured... More

We did the afternoon/Evening cooking class at Roi Thai with friends during our holiday this Christmas. Theoy collected us from our hotel and form the minute we met him we knew we would have a great afternoon. We were greeted at Roi Thai with drinks and a snack. The class began with Theoy talking us through all the ingredients in... More

We booked onto Theoy's lunchtime course in April 2013. We were picked up by Theoy from our hotel, and arrived at his cooking school. As we walked into he building, the views of the beach and the setting took my breath away. We were also the only 2 on the course so Theoy made us a yummy cocktail and we... More
